Paying him his weight. So much per pound. Thats means he's making more than Les.

Studs was an OC for BGU and is one of the best OL coaches in Nation.
LA isn't really a hotbed for OL and LSU doesn't get cupboard full star OL signees every year like some.
He's produced some good results considering QB play and injuries over past few years and I've seen a lot of Ds quit the 4th facing his OLs.

We have lost the two best Olineman in the state twice now. Greg Robinson and Cam Robinson. So if the depth of quality at offensive line is low in Louisiana, maybe you should have an oline coach who is capable of securing the best few in the state. We apparently don't have an oline coach able to do that, regardless of the area of the state he recruiters.

I'm not a huge Stud fan either, but our OL was pretty good this year, and recovered incredibly well last year from the slew of injuries.

We will be at the worst be returning four starters next year, and likely return the core of Poicic, Hawkins, Alexander, Turner for 2015. Couple that with the talent we've been recruiting at the position and this is the brightest the OL has looked since Les has been here.

I just watched the replay of the last drive and Stud is on his cellphone standing in front of Mett who is seated in the QB box well away from sideline right before Jenkins' TD pass. After the TD he's smiling but not celebrating with the team. Then you see him on his cellphone again. He was the least involved person on the sideline.

Please go back and watch the games. He can't teach worth a crap, we've underachieved horribly ever since his white T-shirt wearing arse came here.

I don't think that was stud unless he lost a lot of weight.

Where did the BBQ talk start? Is it something Miles or Stud said in an interview or something that happening or just a TD/Internet joke? Honest question..

I think it started with Ensminger and was then used for Javi, then Stud.

You don't have the offensive production we did this year without decent Oline play. We converted third and longs like clockwork, rushed for 200 yards per game. You don't do that without a strong offensive line, especially considering Mett is a statue.

We weren't able to move the ball on Bama in the second half, The entire team played like crap against Ole Miss.

So based on what you see you argree that he should be the highest paid assistant coach in the nation that isnt a DC or OC? He is that good?

Honestly would ANY other school in the country pay the him 400k? Let alone 500k to be an OL coach? Hell would anyone pay him 500k to be an OC even?

Shawn Elliott at USCE makes 300k
Don Mahoney at Tennessee makes 350k
J.B. Grimes at AU (#1 rushing team in SEC) makes 270k

Josh Henson at Mizzou with the #2 rushing attack is the OC, Co-OL coach and in his spare time coaches the TEs too. HE MAKES THE SAME SALARY

Doesn't matter he needs to be gone as well as Kragthorpe.

Bring in Ed O from USC!

LSU wont even spend more money on our entire recruiting budget than Memphis but we will spend more than anyone in the country for Coach Stud.

Greg Robinson was in La'el's class, he wasn't the top OL in the state.

we normally pull our share of the top-flight OL talent, as well as cherry pick other areas (see Pocic or Dodd). losing La guys hurts, but it's not some position-specific epidemic. there def seems to be an issue with NE La recruits as a whole though.
