Where does the problem exist in NLA? And where does the overpaid coach recruit?

GS did recruit G Robinson with Wilson.

From what I can find Frank Wilson recruited Collins.

I don't quite know what they bring to the table. I find it hard to believe that we cannot hire two coaches that could be significant upgrades to these two.

Very convincing arguement. Next you're going to tell me the Saints have an all-pro offensive line since they're 9-3.

I'm not going to comment further on this, but he has problems getting the most out of the guys he is given.

I wonder what would happen if Stud & Andy Reid both entered a BBQ restaurant at the same time?

Robinson played LSU and there's not much Studs or anybody could do about it.
Do you really think Studs was the only one in his ear?

You tards are dissing a a coach that's 1-1 in BCS NC games, plus a proven OC at 2 FBS programs.
Won the SEC and BCSNCG appearance with JL and JJ was no small feat.

In six years under Studrawa, LSU has produced six All-SEC performers as well as two first-team All-Americans

In his six years at LSU, Studrawa’s line has paved the way for three 1,000-yard backs – Jacob Hester in 2007, Charles Scott in 2008 and Stevan Ridley in 2010
Uh, make it 4 now, and that's pretty good with the way LSU spreads carries.

Studs 2yrs as OC an also Assist HC following year

Studrawa guided the Falcon offense to a No. 3 national ranking in total offense.

These are the facts and not your BBQ dumbassery.

Ok coach..

So you think you deserve to be the highest paid non OC,DC in NCAA football then right? Because you are that good?

Your predecessor put more lineman in the NFL (IN THREE YEARS) and made half your salary adjusted to inflation.. Choke of that one for awhile fat man.

BBQ dumbassery.

My BBQ dumbassery? When I dont even bring up that joke?

He has been here for 7 years and was demoted from OC. So why is nobody out to steal away this golden goose?

Stud had one player in the NFL in SEVEN years and coached the #1 recruit into a potential 3rd rounder. While bama has been putting in first rounders and paying less for better coaches to boot.

Link that shite. Herm, Barksdale, Faulk, and Lonegran all signed without looking any more up. Black would've drafted without the injury.

Rercruited Rueben Randle, Barkevious Mingo, Spencer Ware and Ethan Pocic.
You're just a parrot with lynch mob mentality.

Faulk is on the PUP list but other than him it's Barksdale under Stud. You give him credit for the development of other positions?

Absolutely not saying that. Besides Ensminger, he's the last valuable coach on our staff.

I think it's taken entirely too long, but the future of our OL is very bright, both in draftable prospects and on the field play.

Uhh no.. Pay close attention to players not on a roster

LINK

Herm, Lonergan are not on rosters and nobody knows if Faulk will ever play and hasn't played a down in the nfl. Until then it's just Barksdale. Only Barksdale has taken a snap in an nfl reg season game that I know of.

Btw Ciron Black was all SEC before Stud ever showed up

Lmao.. Seriously? Black spent 2 years under Searels and you count him as a coach stud player?.

And yet this thread is about the tub of lard being horrifically overpaid. Put less linemen in the nfl than his predecessor making half his salary in 2 x the time at lsu and you think he is worth half a mill a year.

And no herm never played a down in the nfl. LINK

Seriously- spent 3 yrs under Studs when he got most of the accolades. All the other OL signed and got paid, which is foreign to you, judging from your posts.
I recall you from the Arky game thread dissing half the team. You're a sour, cynical hater who's got nothing good to say about LSU.

Although having no effect on coaching, you dwell on weight excessively.
Do you have a weight problem? Maybe other family members?

You know you lost your argument so resort to ad hominem attacks.

Yes it REALLY helps recruting to know that we take top 100 OL talent and turn them into players that get drafted in the late rounds and never play a down in the NFL. Great job Stud..

quote:

So the fact that the guy was already an All-SEC lineman before Stud even stepped foot on campus obviously means that he benefits from great coaching

quote:

ough having no effect on coaching, you dwell on weight excessively.

When he is on National TV representing my Alma Mater in the press box in a freakin tshirt with his fat hanging out like he was last year yea its bad for the image of the school and bad for recruiting.

quote:

You realize this drives ticket prices? This affects all fans that want to attend a game. The fact that the man makes 2x the avg salary for his position while having the 6th ranked position that he coaches in the SEC and making more than ANY OTHER OL coach in the country isnt a cause for concern?

quote:

I recall you from the Arky game thread dissing half the team

Only one player I dont agree with seeing playing time. Which is DJ. Mills at CB over RR as well but dont mind him at safety. I also stated that AJ shouldnt be called "The Freak" the horror. Thats obviously half the team though.

Why does it matter?

You're not paying his salary.

it would not make me sad to see him move on.

miles added a great piece with cameron. helped with playcalling and QB's.

OL coach is an underrated coaching position. it's really important.

look at the saints since kromer has left.

Where do you think the money comes from?

LINK

Over the last four or five years our expenses have gone up dramatically, tuition has gone up tremendously," Alleva said in a phone interview. "The cost of salaries, fringe benefits and travel have all gone up.

Well when you go from paying an OL coach OC pay and then run out and hire a OC and dont fire your old one and never reduce his pay back to the level of an OL coach then no shite the overall cost of salaries have gone up.

But feel free to think that LSU prints its own money.

I'm in the same boat. I think there are probably upgrades out there, but I also don't think Stud is a worthless tub of lard, like Catman. He's done a decent job here considering the injury and attrition at the OL position.

Correction:

For the level of his PAY I believe he is a worthless tub of lard.

When you are the highest paid person at your position I dont accept having the #6 ranked OL in the SEC and I dont accept failures on the recruiting trail especially failing to recruit two Louisiana players that claimed to be lifelong LSU fans.

I would feel differently if he were a 250k coach.
