For the level of his PAY I believe he is a worthless tub of lard.

Well we were kind of stuck with his pay after he was promoted to OC when Kragthorpe went down and assistant coaches got raises after the 2011 season.

Where are you getting the 6 ranked OL thing from? I thought they played well this year outside of quitting in the Alabama game and probably gave up a few too many sacks, but some of that I attribute to having an immoblie QB. DC's know they can blitz and push the pocket with no threat of the QB escaping.

Without knowing any information on those recruits thought processes, I'm not sure I can blame Stud solely.

Again, I think there are upgrades out there and I don't believe Stud will be around much longer but he's had success here.

But feel free to think that LSU prints its own money.

I was actually mimicking people on here when others complain about Les's salary.

I do think it would be a problem if he is still making OC pay.

Most publications that rank the positions had LSU as the #6 line in the SEC. Just happens to be where they rank in rushing too.

A big part of that is they also know that our OL gets very confused when taking on stunts as well. ZM holding onto the football too long wasnt the reason he took sacks this year. Last year maybe. This year the line looked lost far too often not knowing who to block.

We paid him to be our OC and he was not this year. Are you saying that we had no choice? We essentially fired the man as our OC when we brought Cam Cameron in. We demoted Stud. When a demotion occurs typically a pay cut follows.

They ranked 2 in rushing TDs and averaged over 5ypc. The ypc mark is the highest it's been in quite sometime. Higher than either of our national championship years and higher than 2011 as well. Not to mention our yards per pass were top 2 in the nation and 3rd down conversion was top in the nation. That doesn't happen with a mediocre o-line.

Agree to disagree. You don't throw for 10.4 yards per attempt without knowing how to block. And it's not Mett holding on to the ball that lead to sacks, it's defenses knowing exactly where he will be in the pocket on passing plays and pushing that point. Even with a statue for a QB we were right in the middle of the SEC for sacks allowed. 1 less than A&M who many consider to have one of the best o-lines in the league.

He signed a contract in 2012 when he was OC. The base pay stayed about the same when Cam came in, and I'm assuming it had to do with the contract he signed.
