The WNBA is tough—just making it isn’t enough; staying in the league is the real challenge.

My understanding is that even making it is tough. Only about 40% of draft picks actually make a WNBA roster. Most of those girls end up playing overseas. I think staying in the league if you survive the roster cuts is actually easier than making a roster post-draft

wonder if the new wnba collective bargaining agreement will have anything to do with her decision. might as well wait 1 year and see what the league comes up with. who wants to be apart of that mess? and it could get very messy with player demands! wnba may not even play (lockout) if they cant come up with an agreement.

The door's over there dick. So upset that a 22 year girl is more famous and accomplished than you, you have to make a comment like that to make yourself feel better? It's just an abbreviation. Get over it.

theres rumblings that SOMEONE is about to announce something today!! if she was going to leave, she'd need to do it sooner rather than later since the draft is in about 2 weeks..... angel announced april 3rd of last year--about 2 days after iowa beat us in the elite 8.

The deadline to declare for the draft is today for teams that have been eliminated.

Why wouldn’t she? She’s gonna make more money in NIL than in the wbna.

just my opinion... FJ plays a little defense, but Williams seems lazy on the defensive end of the floor, and lots of times she is slow moving on the offensive end... her stamina is lacking for some reason; imo, Richard should have seen more playing time, but I'm not at practices and coaching, so it's immaterial... but I see her perhaps traveling the same path as Moon Ursin did when she left Destrehan HS for Baylor, under KM... Ursin got very little playing time her first year and a little more her 2nd year, even though she was LA player of the year 3 years

When’s Williams was off this Season, especially early the Team really struggled. Of course when she got on a roll she was unstoppable. Streak shooter IMO

Flaujae has done well at LSU, improving every year. Another year will help her improve for the WNBA. I imagine her Mom would want her stay another year and get her degree. She would be a senior next year and would be important leader on the team, especially the 4 incoming freshmen will need her leadership.

she could stand to lose some weight in the offseason. booker over at texas did it and she said it helped her tremendously this year.
