I was definitely one that has been hard on him from the start… and last night he came alive. I won’t change my mind about what I watched last season, the UCLA game, or the Auburn game, but last night they actually used him right. He was playing on the Edge a lot more, which should be his position going forward, or they finally blitzed him and didn’t force him to make reads. It was a scheme change that is 9 weeks overdue. He may have a chance to be drafted, but I was wondering if he even could return next year?

He MAY have a chance??? Are you serious with this?

He’s played himself into the second round and with a good combine might sneak into the first.

And that is opinion from draft experts not rant idiots.

He didn’t quit on his team.

If he leaves for the nfl, he won’t get ridiculed here.

We’ll… I mean if teams want to really dig into his film from earlier in the season, they’ll have a lot of reasons not to take him in the first 4-5 rounds. You can’t just come alive and start making TFLs one game and expect to be an early round pick. There has to be consistency and his early play at Mike wasn’t good

He’s played extremely well all year. Only the Rant with its mindless groupthink couldn’t see it.

He’s anywhere from a mid 2nd - late 3rd round pick. Lol but yeah I’d love to see him play another year.

I’m surprised a pretty decent chunk of y’all still aren’t aware of this yet. I mean I understand he was catching a ton of flak after last year but he’s played really damn well this season. I’d throw out everything you saw from the defense with Pelini

Maybe you should dig into his film. He’s played extremely well all year with the exception of UCLA and a bad play near the goal line be AU.

Dude has been fricking solid otherwise. Just because you don’t understand what you are watching doesn’t mean NFL scouts don’t either.

ETA: several draft sites updated recently have him as a top 5 LB prospect for the 2022 draft. One has him as the #3 LB prospect.

So to the OP, yeah he does have “a chance” to get drafted.

I feel his athletic ability is off the charts.

Height/weight/speed not quite devin white fast, but just a hair slower.

That alone will get him drafted.

His play the past couple games has been lights out and that'll bump him up.

Idk. Bo Nix was screaming “tackle me” most of that game and Clark never did so it was more than 1 goal stand

He recently became a father so he may be looking to start earning some money. He will absolutely be drafted.

Yeah and it wasn’t Clark missing him it was Ojalari and the D line.

Clark had 13 tackles vs AU

There’s a lot to be said for not quitting on your team

That’s about as certain as LSU having a new coach in 2022.

Before this weekend he was the leading tackler in the nation and a Butkus award finalist. So I’d say he’s had a pretty good year up to this point.

He has been there all along. Scheme and calls from the bench have been passive and alltogether crap. Last night they cut loose like they should have.

With that said he is leading the NCAA in tackles. He is leading the SEC by 20. He is leading his team by 48. Dont give me that 10 yds up field bullshite either.
