No.

But it will be blown up in the media. People will convince everyone that BK is the reason he developed a brain tumor.

If you cannot see that the family is clearly trying to get paid, I cannot help you. It’s an awful situation, but to blame BK is laughable.

There is nothing BK nor OLOL did wrong here. It is an obvious money grab.

The only *damning* thing is the lack contact, which is probably due to the fact that the family sued LSU and OLOL.

Brian Kelly is a football coach. In what world should he be blamed for anything in this matter? Only people who already dislike the man will try to blame him. Unfortunate situation to everyone involved. Life sucks sometimes. That’s all I got.

He received surgery 39 days after symptoms started. That is lightning fast in today's medical world. If you or I had the same symptoms it would take months before we got approved for surgery. BK didn't know the kid had a tumor. If someone is throwing up at practice, no reasonable human would say "he might have a tumor." I hate it for Brooks, but it's not LSU's fault.

No, but the school attorneys do. More than likely the family is going to sue anyone associated with LSU football

He needs to stay quiet.

BK was reckless with that poor kid (RIP) from ND. BK unequivocally did nothing wrong with GB. This is football

I don’t know why this is soooo hard for some people to comprehend.

People are born; People get sick; People die.

Life has been this way this way since the beginning of time.

Life isn’t fair.

There is not a need to point the finger and blame someone every time someone gets sick, or dies when they are young.

Right or wrong, it won't look good especially with his Declan Sullivan history!

You should do some research into that incident.

No. The coach isn't qualified to make the call on if a player should have a medical procedure done. That's the trainer and medical staff's job. The press like to shite on Kelly, but this isn't on him.

The hospital will have a problem if there was negligence, but 39 days to go from dizzy and throwing up to recommending an MRI is not that long of a time, so I don't think LSU's medical staff did anything wrong. It's always easy to go back with hindsight, but vertigo can come from anything from dehydration to cancer and when an athlete gets dizzy and throws up, you don't immediately jump to brain tumor as a diagnosis unless symptoms persist, which they did, so they recommended the MRI.

The whole situation sucks. It's massively unfortunate for Greg and his family because that tumor was probably in his head for awhile before he ever had symptoms. I am not a brain surgeon, so I can't say if the doctor's did anything wrong, but I highly doubt OLOL assigned a completely unqualified surgeon into an emergency brain surgery. This is the type of surgery that you call in your most qualified and experienced team.

The main lesson to take away from this for everyone is that as an athlete, if you feel that your body is off, say something. If the medical staff don't take it serious enough for your comfort, take your health into your own hands and go get a second opinion.

How often are young athletes playing football diagnosed with brain tumors? It’s almost non existent. The symptoms can be confused with a number of other things that may come to mind first, rather than a brain tumor. LSU delaying getting him to a MRI wouldn’t have changed the outcome and surgery is no guarantee. I don’t believe this lawsuit has merit. When surgery is performed, especially one like this, the main risk is stroke and I am sure it’s something they were consulted about. Unless something happened during surgery that can be pointed to as malpractice, I don’t believe this will lead to a Jury awarded settlement.

This is laughable. No he does not. You must not have played football in the Louisiana or Texas heat. Throwing up is not out of the ordinary. shite, we would have people pass out, it just happens. shite, anytime we would lose or play bad we would run bleachers, or stairs in the High school for 2-3 hours and almost the entire team would be dry heaving or puking.

The world has gotten so soft nowadays. To blame a Football Coach for a brain tumor is about as stupid as Sunny Hostin blaming "uneducated white women" for Trump being elected.
