First off you have a very loose interpretation of the term "great hitter". Watkins? Edward? Spencer Ware started games for that team for crying out loud.

And most of the players you mentioned had good or great years.

Watkins had a decent OBP, and was a legit SB threat. You find a way to get him on base at #1 or #9, and you have Jones, Mahtook, Rhymes, and Katz behind him? And Hanover and Nola further down the lineup? That is a powerful lineup, and it showed it on occasion with a lot of double digit run games that year. But, with that lineup, we had no business getting shutout multiple times and scoring 4 runs and less as many times as we did in SEC play.

I wouldn't be upset if Javi left. The guy is a nobody who has gotten lucky with agents ( or advisors ) doing his job for him. But that's not going to be happening anymore with what went down this spring.

What does it mean?

What is the acceptable number of times a "good" team should score less than 4 runs?

A few of our commitments decommited this spring. Maybe they were processed, I don't know. Southwest La. Is not happy with this staff.

What about the Jordan twins...?

I heard about the kid from Sulphur decommitting because he "wasn't happy with the money LSU was giving him"...

3 of our 8 current commitments for the 2015 class are from SW La. How many of those are we going to lose?

I'm not sure we need to get rid of javi but it seems we see a lot of year to year regression from hitters. A few examples are Hanover, Jones, Ibarra, Bregman, Nola, rhymes, just to name a few.

Given that lineup, (A great lineup, IMO, not just a good one) I wouldn't expect them to get shutout to Alabama's Saturday and Sunday starters back to back. I would expect more than 7 runs in three games at home(Florida in this case) against ANY SEC school. Not an unreal expectation with that talent level. And on the road against Arkansas, they were limited to another 7 runs in three games. This was a team that showed itself capable of getting double digit runs against legit pitching several times. There was just no consistency putting up runs in SEC play, something that is not unusual under Javi.

It isn't about a certain number of low run games being "unacceptable," it is about a total lack of consistency scoring runs on Saturdays and Sundays with a good lineup being "unacceptable"

LSU slammed that door.
(If it's true.)

They weren't good enough to be Tigers. Sour grapes. It happens.

He's never recruited a division 1 player, he can't have an opinion.

Some of those aren't very good examples.

Again, you severely overstate the talent level of that team. And even the best teams get shut down or go through slumps.
