Remember it quite well. It was the good old days in Tiger Stadium. You could walk through the place and enjoy the smell of hamburgers and hotdogs cooking in open instead of the pre-cooked, pre-packaged crap you get now.

"David Walkup on the stop"

And a sad-making "Emmit Smith on the carry". Fuggin Archer.

I also liked the text of play on the old score board..."Miles stumbles for 3" Someone who we had season tickets by used to try to guess the verb...

To the OP, all of us old Tiger fans remember this well.

I would also add that the only loud speakers were mounted on the NEZ and SEZ scoreboards. So if you sat in one of the end zone sections, you would hear the far scoreboard a split second after the near one so that it sounded something like this:

"Doctor - octor, number - umber, 345 - ive, please call - all, . . ."

Yep me too. Also, I remember smoking weed under the stadium at halftime under section 209 in the north endzone. Now, it's an official concrete entrance off of gate 8.

I was a member of the LSU Band from 1972-1975. It's burned into my memory..
