CBK is stuck in a quandary. He doesn't know how to balance it. Therefore, is he a good coach? He wants to be seen more as a father figure than a Champion. Officials don't even respect his gangsta.

"Student Athletes"

that term is and has been an oxymoron for quite some time, they are "officially" pros now and even so, they have every opportunity to graduate if that's what they want, give me the badass, borderline tPOS that used to make up our defense

Athletes that are actually students there to earn a degree are rare these days. Particularly in football and basketball. It’s more like a minor league system with out of control transfers and grade fixing.

No major D1 coach truly care about graduation rates...they care about players maintaining eligibility and wins.

It is really not hard for a LSU athlete to graduate. He is asking them so show the bare minimum of responsibility and some of them cant do it.

You mean that Les policy that constantly left us with roster turnover because 5,6,7th round guys were leaving early?

I don't think Kelly gives a frick about being seen as a father figure.

The closest thing he is to a father figure for these kids is Daddy Warbucks with that contract.

BK gets paid more than most to WIN football games.
So he should let the players worry about their education and win some damn football games.

He needs to learn that these southern gents aren't like those ND scholars.

that was collateral damage but we were always able to reload because the assumption coming here was three and done and a rookie contract

They literally have student assistants write their essays for them.

I'd rather them graduate with a degree in liberal arts and have a defense worth a frick. Does that answer your stupid question?

Congrats to those who get their degree from there.

But their own fanbase is about 90% of people who've never taken a single class on that campus.

Change the "or" to "and". Yes, I want students that graduate and are champions.

Do some of you idiots believe he is sitting guys because they don't have 4.0 avgs??

Or he doesn't recruit guys because they aren't principals list students???

There are minimum requirements to be eligible, he can't control those.
