You don't need NBA players to win in CBB. Sure, it can help, but there are 450 total NBA players on rosters during regular season. There are 355 D-I basketball schools. You think every successful coach is just running out NBA all stars and calling it a day? This isn't early 90's UNLV or Fab 5 Michigan.
CBB coaches are expected to win with CBB talent.
