My guess Okla.
Impossible that OU goes in front of Oregon. Alabama or Oregon will be in it unless something really goes wrong for them

No I dont think bama has a shot...bama fatigue has sent in with the country and their strength of schedule is terrible...

Oregon and Oklahoma both have reps on the committee so getting one of those conferences in will be their objective

No they will not match LSU with Bama again unless they play in the championship.

It'll be two scenarios:
1) Alabama doesn't make the Final Four

2) LSU is the #1 seed while Bama is #3 vs #2 Ohio St The committee will punish Clemson for their weak schedule and drop them to #4.

No. IF Bama sneaks in they will be #4. They do not want an all SEC National Championship game again.

They also don't want a rematch as well. They get LSU vs Bama or Ohio St (assuming they win) in the final. Storylines everywhere.

The committee doesn't think like normal college football fans. They can use the UNC win for Clemson as a debate point when comparing Bama who's only loss is to the #1

I still don’t know why the fact that Georgia moving past Alabama is not getting more media attention. That was huge step in saying to Alabama and the rest of college football that good losses don’t over come bad losses if you don’t have any good wins to back it up. To me it set the stage for a one loss conference champ moving past Alabama at the end of the season.

I completely agree. They will hover at 4-5 until they get surpassed on championship weekend. I’m sure Saban will be everywhere on ESPN trying to lobby like he did in 2011, but I don’t think it will work this time.

I downvoted because this subject has already been discussed to nausea. 4 weeks to go, plus we just beat them, who cares?!?

Should the #1 team in the country be playing a team ranked third in it’s conference?

no chance in holy hell that the CFP bumps a 1 loss bama above an undefeated Clemson.

If you don’t win your conference OR your division then you don’t deserve to go

I’d be saying the same thing had we lost in Tuscaloosa too. Win your damn games or stay home

No. 2019 is very different than 2011.

LSU and Alabama are not CLEARLY the two best teams.

There are 2 or 3 other teams that could be better than Bama and LSU (tOSU, Clemson, maybe Georgia).

The better team won the first game (remember Bama outgained LSU and missed FIVE field goals in the 9-6 2011 game).

The rematch thing is worn out (LSU-Bama) (UGA-Bama).

Why? Are you losing sleep over it happening?

Hey, the way I look at it, is if your team is undefeated and an automatic seed in the college football playoffs, then all teams your team has already previously beaten in the regular season should automatically be disqualified from being able to get into the college football playoffs. As no college football playoff seeds should be forced to beat the same team a second time to win a college football playoffs. That spot should be given to the next best team in the country. As no teams should be given two shots to win a national title cause it simply is not fair to the rest of the field.

I sure hope not because the percentages are heavily favored against us in a rematch. Anyone that actually wants to play them again isn’t too bright. Yes we are the better team but Alabama is still a very good team and very good teams are hard to beat two times in a row.

Idk but I dont care either. We're flat out better than them.

In 2011, let's be real here, we were kinda lucky to win that first match. Bama got into scoring position much more often than we did, just missed FGs and had a pick at the goal line. The MVP was Brad Wing for having a 70+ yard punt. Whether we like to admit it or not, a lot of subconsciously knew this and were weary about playing them again that year.

This year however, Bama was lucky to even have it that close at the end. I say let them play again and give us a head start on building another streak of our own. Maybe Bama has to have one of their mulligans result in an L for it to stop happening in the future, I for one would like LSU to be the team to put a stop to that nonsense

If they win out its a 69% chance they get in. Better than 2-1. So yes they will probably be the 4 seed. They will be favored in every game and were a 7 point favorite against the Mighty Tigers. Id rather play them than OSU or ClemP son.
LSU can get a kickstart on tagging their azz 8 straight for payback. Time to restore order in the west.
Beating them twice this yr makes The last 26 meetings 13-13.
Bring It!
