Les is called the Mad Hatter because of his "mad" playcalling.

However, in reality, 95 per cent of the time miles lines up in run formation - he runs the ball. same thing for a passing formation.

in other words, he seldom does the unexpected.

it's got to be a great week to be a DC when LSU is on the schedule. load the box to stop the run. don't worry about covering the tight ends because lsu doesn't utilize them in the passing game. and so often there is only one wide receiver in the formation. what could be better?

Les just loves to block and tackle better than anyone else. screw attacking the other team's weaknesses. let's just do our thing.

he is very good at it. you have to give hime credit.

Tell that to Manny Diaz, he just saw his front 7 get steamrolled all night.

Except that it, you know, didn't stop the run

Also false. You suck at this.

There are legit criticisms in respect of Miles, but this is just retarded. If there is any DC that feels like you described, they are just as retarded as you.

actually it has to be quite frustrating, especially when you lose because you know what is coming and often do not stop it

Once his conservative gameplan blows up in his face the sunshine pumpers will be super quiet, but then again we've been accustomed to it.

I love when we run 3 times in a row. It just means I need more beer to calm me down.

As does every other team that features the I formation.

load the box to stop the run

We ran it down their throat.

We actually threw a TE for a nice first down. We tried last year against ND to get him involved but he had some drops.

and so often there is only one wide receiver in the formation

What game did you watch?

One of State's main weaknesses is their front 7. We attacked it all night.

I believe that the full-blown insanity of Les Miles is what drives these players to win at LSU.

The man went 8-5 with Gary Crowton on one side and "Malveto" on the other. He's mad.

they stopped us in the 4th quarter.

hey, no sense in getting mad at me. these are legitimate observations. yeah, I saw the one 4 yard pass we threw to a tight end. tell me, how many times do we line up in a double tight end one receiver running formation and pass the ball to a tight end?

and some of you just didn't read the whole post? it wasn't a criticism of miles - just an observation. this is who miles is, and he is good at his game.

he's not going to change, so i'm not suggesting that he does.

who wants to bet that even though auburn's weakness is their secondary, we do not do much in the passing game? Huh? any takers? we'll line up in running formation and run the ball. count how many men they put on the line to stop us. we'll have some success, even so. miles assembles the talent, strengths and conditions them, and runs his game.

we will seldom break tendency. we'll do it a few times, but most times the money is on defend what you see. we'll pass mostly on 3rd down and long.

this is who Les miles is. i'm past criticizing him. if you love miles why don't you just admit it and love him for what he does instead of trying to straighten everyone out?

we've got eyes. we can see what's going on after 11 seasons.

...and 90% of the time you will lose.

two of nine completed passes to TE's last week. Just Sayin.

You live for this don't you? You live for LSU to lose so you can strut your negativity, amirite? Life must have been miserable this past decade when LSU has been winning way more than losing. That must erode your spirit. What will you do now when it looks like LSU will continue winning and your loser attitude gets more and more pathetic every day?

Guess you didn't notice the one that went for about 20 yards and got us a first down.

One of my good friends acts the same way. They'd rather lose and say atoadaso than to win and have to be miserable all alone.

There's was also an incompletion on an out-and-up along the sideline.
