Unlucky - how recent have you heard he's staying? Someone on the on3 board saying Blake's wife is telling family he's very likely to leave for Tulane.

Baker not goin to Fla for DC position. He very may take the Tulane job if offered. I hope he stays a Tiger!

The current coach is headed to UF. Tulane could get into the playoffs.
Things are different in the NIL era. Schools like Tulane can pull in good athletes, because they know they can play right away, and if they do good, they can transfer to a P4 school that needs them and play right away.
You can't stack 5 stars 2-3 deep on your roster anymore. They are going to schools like Tulane to get experience before going on to their final destination with a nice NIL check. So someone like Blake Baker can be successful at Tulane and then move on to a big time P4 job.

There are some within the tulane ranks that hate LSU. Taking baker from us would make them very happy. Having success with Baker would make them ecstatic.
That said, there’d be opening a pretty big can of worms if they took Baker because LSU isn’t going to sit idly by and will certainly look to return fire at the opportune time.
