We put a UVA sticker on the helmet this week to honor the victims of the shooting. The sticker was on the gold helmet so there’s a decent chance it’ll be gold/purple/gold

I’ve never understood the love of the whites. Yeah yeah tradition rabble rabble rabble. But in the 1980’s that’s ALL they wore. As a kid, my elders would bitch and moan about it and say they were cursed, etc. However, we had much more success, in my opinion, than the 70’s with that arse hat McClendon and his traditions.
As I aged, I realized the purple shirts were the exception to the rule, but I as a TAF member, ticket season payer, kid tuition payer, etc., I would love to see some nostalgia out there. I guess I’m kinda meh, but if I voted, it would be purple for one game and never a damn white helmet ever again.
