Who the F cares. It's not like we are at the bottom of the list in hitting or HRs

Has less to do with the bat and more to do with how many schools use each brand. Louisville slugger sponsors like 60% of college baseball programs.

Right? Stats without context are meaningless.

People wanna blame because of SEC pitching is the reason I think it is more of a bat problem.

Hernandez and Dickenson for example.. Should have atleast 20 homeruns like they did last year at their previous program

Don't bring facts into this discussion.

So you think they should have as many HR vs SEC pitching as they did against Missouri Valley and WAC pitching?

Independent studies/hitting pretty much all agree that Louisville Slugger is the top BBCOR brand as a whole. Combat which is made by Easton/Rawlings is close to the top when looking at individual bats. Just like DeMarini The Goods.

Marucci has fallen behind in the bat market. But with D1 players, they can hit with any bat. You go with who is giving you the money/equipment.

are you seriously saying guys should have just as much success against SEC pitching as they do against Missouri Valley & WAC pitching?

Dickinson came over from Utah Valley.
Their ballpark is over 4,500' in elevation (The Box is like 45')

that alone will add to the HR docket.

then their ballpark is only 305' down the LF Line (that's 10' shorter than the rec league park in my hometown).
the "power alley" is roughly 340' which is about 15' shorter than at The Box.

the team currently leading the WAC in ERA (Sacramento St.) is 62nd in the country.
There's 13 SEC teams above that right now.

so:
considerably weaker pitching
way smaller ballpark
literally 100 x's the elevation

and you think the bats are the reason he's not hitting as many homers?

Jared Jones might hit 50 a year if he played at Utah Valley.

Hernandez

the best team ERA in the Missouri Valley would rank 11th in the SEC

side note:
I just added a baseball game at Utah Valley to my list when I go to Utah next spring

Dickinson

Dickinson in non-conference games: 87 at bats - 7 Homeruns
Dickinson in SEC games: - 107 at bats - 3 HR

did he change bats when conference play started?
