Do we have Tiger fans who still feel no playoff, season was a failure?

I’m sure there will be a few people who feel this way. I’m sure they will also claim they won’t go to or watch the Bowl game either.

Not scoring a point against Alabama was failure enough.

I only feel this a bit because had we taken care of business against Florida, a team we had no business losing to, we go into the game against A&M with a playoff spot on the line. The Committee clearly respected us a ton. I like to think the results would be different in the A&M game were that the case.

I think people are more disappointed with another 9-3 season and the way Bama beat us. I'd bet most people are happy to end up in the fiesta, but being 10-2 and in the Sugar would've been the ideal way to finish the season. "Playoffs or bust" people just don't really see the big picture of things and are unrealistic. There were two games we shouldn't have won this year (bama and georgia), so we should've finished with 2 losses. I could've forgiven us for losing a game that we should've won if we beat one of those two (which we did). 9-3 isn't awful considering the tough arse schedule considering Florida and A&M were EXTREMELY close, but 10-2 would've shut most people up outside the unrealistic morons. The main thing I care about is the direction of the program

I mean the season wasn’t a failure. We are in position to get 10 wins with a NY6 bowl win. We also got scewed against A&M and we all know that. We should be at 11-1 and had a possible playoff berth, but that’s how it goes sometimes. 2019 should be even better.

No, but I’ve always said 10 regular season wins is the minimum expectation.

It’s still a failure to meet expectations, just like it was when Les failed to go 10-2 or better.

I don’t move goalposts just because of who is the coach.

It’s not necessarily anything against our team as much as it is against a system.

Our last meaningful game of the season was a loss that was stolen

And we back our way into a New Year’s Day meaningless exhibition game and our “NFLSU” players will not be playing.

Would be a lot more exciting if we were preparing for a 16 team playoff.

We are not "competing for championships" when we finish 3 games behind the division winner. Being 11th before the bowl games is progress, but we are not there yet.

For the 1000th time, LSU's goals are to win division, conference and national titles.

LSU accomplished none of those this year.

This year was a failure.

Losing to Florida and tamu is a failure. Not scoring a point against bama is a failure.

If O actually gets the win.. then I'll call it a success with some disappointing losses..
If he loses. It's a failure.. and I'll assume 4 losses until they finally fire him.

If we lose the bowl game I admit the season was a massive failure.

Considering we were predicted to go 6-6 I’d say no.
Beating Florida and A&M would have greatly exceeded expectations.
Winning the bowl game would make the season better for sure.

We did better than expected and made a NY6 Bowl. The same dipshits griping about 9-3 and playing UCF in a NY6 bowl are the same cockbites who were saying were were going to lucky to win 6 games to get bowl eligible. frick them.
