Do we have any other options behind the plate?

Feduccia is costing us runs, and his bat has gone cold

Don’t blame Feduccia, that’s baseball.

Blame freshman Mason Doolittle for leaving the team or CPM for running him off.

We have only one defensive catcher, anything we get from him at the plate is a bonus.

I have a feeling he's gonna get back on track. He's already shown that he can play. He just needs to figure it out and get that confidence back.

He’s the best option. By far.

I think Feduccia will be fine, but his play, while costing us a couple of runs pales in our recent scoring drought. Outside of one big inning, in the last four games we look like we’ve never seen a bat or pitched ball. We have produced some of the easiest outs lately and that’s costing us games, not a couple of passed balls.

Not only is he the best option, he’s the only option. I personally don’t think he’s that bad. Anyone who followed Pap was going to underwhelm.

But I thought CPM said Doolittle was behind the walk ons on the depth chart?

Papierski started out his career pretty slow at LSU. I remember thinking that Mainieri hyped him up too much and that he wasn’t going to pan out to be the player we all thought he would be. Wrong. It just takes time to adjust to a new level of baseball. Once he gets it figured out, he’ll be one of the best players on the team

Feduccia is absolutely not the problem. We're damned lucky to have him on this team right now.

Fedducia is far and away our best option back there. Learn to deal with it.

I think a lot of people underestimate how difficult it is to play catcher at the Collegiate level. Feduccia is doing fine behind the plate. He just looks worse because he is following Paps, who was a top 3 defensive catcher in the nation last year.
