I swear over the PM era our teams are much smaller than other teams. At times we look like we have kids playing for us while we are playing against grown arse men. For example seeing Ripoll on the mound looks like a kid that got beat up in high school. This last inning I looked at Gio and he looks like a softball slap hitter. The same can be said for Broussard and Hughes. Also, Watson and Dup are great players that we are fortunate to have on the team, but they are the same way.

I remember growing up watching baseball at the old box and I swear it looked like we had grown arse MLB payers all over the field.

We look tiny compared to others. Not like the days of Lyle Mouton, Bell brothers, etc....

How many threads need to be about the size of the players?

WE ARE NOT LOSING BECAUSE THE PLAYERS ARE SMALL!!!!!!!!!!!!!

The players aren’t even small.

THE MAIN PROBLEM WITH THIS TEAM IS PITCHING!

I didn’t see we are losing because the players are smaller. I made a comment that PM generally recruits smaller type players. I think my statement is pretty accurate.

Yes! Last week it seemed every Ole Miss player was much bigger than us.

Fine. Our players are tiny. I actually thought they were middle schoolers. So this is college we’re watching?

That’s cause with -5 and -3 bats, teams wanted the monsters who could hit 500 foot homeruns

Ryan Theriot was small in the skip days and he would be a monster on this team.

Tyler Hannover would probably be the biggest and best player on this team. Why don’t we recruit studs like that any more?

Number 1 recruiting class, so apparently we do. We just can’t coach them.

I miss the “golden” era (aka steroid era of baseball) of college baseball. We dominated that era. We were men amongst boys.

Shortstops hitting 40 home runs in a season that only had eight in his entire career in the league, a catcher with 78 home runs, towering shots almost hitting the apartments outside of left field, balls that may not have landed yet at Omaha’s old Rosenblatt and a 188 home runs in a single season. Good times!

That’s not reality with unloaded bats and a noticeably smaller crew of players (not just at LSU). Those days are gone.

Ryan Theriot was 5’11” 177 lbs. That’s smaller than all of our starters today.

But good one though. You probably did fool some people.

Who are the small players that are regular starters you are referring to?

There must be something to it, fool. Open your fricking eyes. For one, it takes more than a little strength to generate sufficient bat speed. 5'9" 165 ain't gonna cut it, fool.
