He has literally been with the team for a couple weeks. Lets give him at least one summer with a proper S&C program before we start giving him the rice and gumbo rhetoric

Just some real great things to note….kid is in stride on a receiver from 20 yards out, in his hip, in stride not allow receiver over the top, and taking away the ability to take the next pylon, some one eluded to this earlier, it’s know as hip pocket, very impressive for a kid playing HS ball a few weeks ago. All this to simply say the kid has great technique for this level and great ability, he continues to put the work in he will be great.

He’s already at 184. With spring and summer I’m confident staff will get him up to 195. He’s a corner at the end of the day don’t need him put on a ton of weight

Well it’s a good thing there’s nobody in college football right now that is a Burrow, Chase and Jefferson level combo. Not even close as a matter of fact. You don’t hardly ever see a combo that great. So I think Pickett will be fine lol.

Yall do realize Rashard Robinson clamped up Mike Evans a freshman when he only weighed 170lbs. Mike was already 6’5 220 around that time. Stop putting so much stock into weight. He’s going to get bigger and stronger no matter what. What matters most is skill and technique.

The only thing worse than this thread is trying to prop it up after having your ignorance of the sport of football exposed.

You can tell the kid is a natural cover corner. Elite speed and movement skills to go along with incredible length. You can’t teach that level of movement skills and athleticism at 6’4. The kid has shutdown corner written all over him especially with a motivated Corey Raymond coaching him up

Hard for lanky athletic 18 year old guys to put on weight, especially in Louisiana Summer. He’ll be fine but I doubt he has a big weight jump by next Fall. Sophomore year he’ll be close I’m sure.

Won’t matter too much, he’s a stud.

receiver dropping a easy catch! What am I missing?

What I saw too bro but I wouldn't say easy catch. He was right there with him and in great position and you can tell his length is going to cause some issue for wr's. We don't have guys now that can even do that. I love the fact he's out there competing already, Thats a early sign of any elite player is willingness to compete.

It's extremely rare. That is why he is so special and has a chance to start day 1.

OMG, pump the brakes. Receiver dropped the ball.. Pickett needs to add some muscle before next year.
He will be a great one, but jezz that was not "making a play"

Down vote the truth all you want.
