I dont see him physically ready to contribute to start the season... We'll see... I think he'll be great but he's got some work to do. And before someone says "yea, but Derek Stingley" This was Stingley as a high school senior. Dude was put together.

He’s a corner not a linebacker.

Morris Claiborne ended 2009 as our second corner and as a HS senior he was a 3 star and looked like this

Mo didn't start the year as a starting cb bro...Chris Hawkins did. Nobody thinks Pickett wont end up great or wont contribute at all next year. He's gonna have to put on some weight. Really tough to do in 6 months with everything thats thrown at these kids.

The kid is literally a lock to start day 1 your wrong . He will have all spring and fall to gain weight. Not every 18 year goes to college with a man body. He’s already at 180 he can easily get up to 190 by fall

It’s December of picket’s senior year of high school yet he’s already in a college weight program and practicing yet you are saying that he can’t start at a boundary cornerback lol

I never said he couldn't. I said I don't think he's physically ready to contribute at start of the season. Could be wrong, I hope I am. 6'4 175 is not 6'0 170. The learning curve is already steep and hard to overcome as a freshman. Throw in trying to eat, work out, practice at a position that is constantly doing cardio and agility drills and gain weight on a ectomorph type body is all extremely challenging. There's very few examples of it happening at all and no examples of a kid his size doing it at this level at DB. We'll see how he does.

You don't see many 6'4" CBs period. Not even in the NFL. I'm gonna reserve my judgement for now

I always think these are funny. As if memorizing English grammar rules is some indication of intellect. A lot of the smartest people in the world don't know a lick of english

Brandon Browner that had a short stint with New Orleans and lead the league in pass interference penalties damn near every year is only one that comes to mind.
