As a backup I'd take either. Neither is coming as a backup so to answer your question...neither.
Though I do think Sellers could be really good with the right talent around him. Same with Lagway with good coaching as he has already shown he has high ceiling his freshman year.

lagway has probably been destroyed mentally, and he is not a runner.

Sellers and not particularly close.

Not quite sure that is even possible.

Sellers is an actual QB. Lagway is out of position because people are enamored with athleticism. He can match someone like Perkins in speed and size. He should be playing LB or S somewhere.

Sellers throw it to the other team alot
Sellers isn't a turnover machine, he's thrown 8 INTs this year and his int rate is 2.73% which is better than Mateer and Reed.
Will Sellers be worth the $, not sure, but I'd take him over the Arizona State guy.

It's real, most sacks given up in the SEC with 43 sacks and an SEC worst 3.24 yards per rush.

Seller's has some Rohan Davey and JaMarcus Russell vibes but also some Ryan Perrilloux.
I'd take Sellers over Lagway.

I think Sellers would kill it in Lane’s offense
stripped down calls and way more designed runs

Well, if we had to choose based on on the offense likely to be utilized, Sellers is the better natural runner (decision making is a negative), but Lagway has a better arm (again decision making is a negative). So in a heavy RPO offense (there’s no guarantee that’s what he’ll use here) I’d choose Sellers. If the desire is to drop back and throw it, I’d choose Lagway. For Sellers we need better run blocking, for Lagway we need better pass protection.
Having said all that crap,….neither are likely to show major interest in coming here.

How is it that other teams miraculously discover Freshman phenoms for quarter back and we drag on trying to improve or steal upper classman ??

Wow. Guess this proves that no matter how bad you are, theirs always someone out there that is worse than you

but Lagway has a better arm
Because if it does, Lagway ain't got the better arm.

This is completely backwards. Sellers is much much more of an athlete than Lagway, who is more of a pocket qb that also happens to be bad at throwing.

This sounds like you've never actually seen Lagway and definitely never watched him play.

Both are toast now but the talent is there. I bet if they would’ve went to OSU Ryan day would have turned them both to stars
