Did we verify if the statue vandalizing was true or not?

Saw reports and news posting that Mike’s statue and Shaq’s statue were vandalized the night before the southern game. True or fake news?

I only saw the picture of the one on the Tiger, but not on Shaq.
I also don’t really think it’s that big of a deal, very tame compared to what used to happen between schools during game week. I remember reading that TAMU kidnapped BEVO once and ate him.

I think you can safely assume it has been tagged/vandalized in a similar manner before, and it was cleaned in 5 minutes and it did not make the news. it is in a high profile location on a campus of 40K kids. The plane on south stadium used to be vandalized on a weekly basis in the 80's

Statues are racist anyway!! Did yall not watch the news a few years back when all the statues were vandalized & torn down then racism just went away?
