Sure but Alleva feel for Derek/O’s scheming coup propaganda and Aranda’s continued success further tarnished Alleva’s miserable legacy.

If LSU had that qb production the board would implode.

Jesus just let it go. We have a great hire who has already brought in great hires! Let’s ride and forget about what we could have had. CBK will MUGA!

Aranda was my first choice, but obviously not Scott’s.

Brian Kelly was a great hire and I’m looking forward to the Kelly era.

I can see dave at Michigan or Penn state before a SEC school, but I expect him to win enough for. Baylor to keep him around and pay him just enough

What does it matter?

Depends on your definition of "kicking".
Ole Miss led in the stats. The difference was Corral getting hurt and being replaced by a true freshman.
This along with some stupid turnovers and 2 missed FG were the difference makers.

I would add Utah to that mix. It's a school that does not get a lot of attention but has been steadily improving in terms of recruiting and power. Had it not been for some early season mishaps...off the field, you could have been looking at them as a possible 4 seed.

Whittingham is as good a coach as you will find in D1. Does a lot in a place that people don't pay attention to....but I suspect that they will now. SLC is an attractive place for kids to go. It's one of the favorite recruiting trips for a lot of kids

Wanted Dave but recognize now that SW’s plan is solid. I’ll always want Dave as our HC, I like that guy.

simmer down. the book is still open. you have to wait to see what he does with the players he recruits. next season will start to give you and idea.

aranda is doing a good job, and may turn out to be a quality head coach. too early for the annointing, imo.

Aranda has not proven himself as a Head Coach. He is 4 years away.

Woodward didn’t think the same way;

It seems like Woodward's marching orders from the BOS was to find a "name brand", somebody with experience at a high level. Given that, I don't think Aranda was ever considered. I would have taken that chance but I think the BOS was more risk-averse.

I agree. I'm curious to see how Aranda does with his guys. In a few years we'll know. If he shows a lot of success, I don't think he is looking to make a change to a school with a big spotlight. He is kind of like Chris Petersen in that regard. He would prefer not to be in the limelight.
