Honestly, the first quarter was disappointing, but it could be rationalized to an extent--roughed up our new QB,Tebow being Tebow, must win for UF,etc.

But,to our guys' and staff's credit,we settled down and cut it to 20-14 with all of the time left in the world and the momentum.

But,from 5:00 left in the third to final horn,it was a nightmare. No way to spin that one. Really shocking.

Defense was worn out due to being on the field the whole first half. Combine that with the crappy scheme

This was key. If we got a stop after that second score, the game would have been completely different.

honestly after that first TD i didn't think we had a chance, not being pessimistic, just all the intangibles were in their favor, couldn't let them get off to a good start if we wanted any kind of chance

What really sucks is that we were about one inch from them not getting off to a blazing start... If that ball isn't tipped backwards... then who knows how the rest of the first half goes... but a flukey tip resulted in a big play TD and we tanked after that...

Other than that one play... we kept Harvin in check most of the game.

Our receivers abused their secondary... but Lee had no time.

We pretty much laid an egg.

Same here - I thought we'd settle down and play some football.

Thats the diff. btwn this year and the past years. When we needed a stop last year, we got one. Seeing FLA drive it down our throats and score was killer.

The beginning. You can't spot Florida 20 points in the Swamp and win.

First, after a great first two plays, we get McCray lined up on Harvin deep.

Second, we come out with an offensive game plan revolving around SHORT PASSES for Jarrett Lee, when he has a tendency to frick those up! If we know this is his weakness, why game plan to exhibit the weakness? WTF was that?

Third, when it was 10-0, after we had two failed offensive drives and we need a stand to prevent it becoming 17-0 in the first quarter, we facemask the frick out of Rainey, handing them 15 yards when we had them bottled up in another 3rd and long situation in their territory. They go on to score....

Fourth, about that score...we had Beckwith matched up on Harvin. WTF?

Seriously....the first quarter was horrible. It showed almost zero admission of any weakness on our team. It exhibited a game plan that asked our players to do things that they aren't good at.

like 4th and 9 against Casey fricking Dick or 4-5 times against Kentucky, or up 23-17 against whoever Auburn's QB was (so bad i already forgot his name)

The end.
At 20-14, I thought it was "game on."

Man, me too. We just couldn't stop them on defense. We didn't adjust.

The end. I expected us to be losing going in to the 4th. For some reason the mad spotter loves to spot teams points then play from behind.

But spotting them 20 was a little much. Still, not even being close at the end was the most suprising.

Me too. Our team is know for not quitting and I thought we were coming back. In fact, I yelled out that the rout was on.

The end. I thought we had a chance when it was 14-20. Lee is too green.. still shuffling his feet when he throws. Our defense gave Tebow too much time.

no. what shocked me was how we reacted on that third and short in the 3rd quarter down by 6. that was the key play o fthe game to me. We lost it after that.
