They had a nice embrace and both were smiling pregame.

Post game they also hugged. Kim said a couple things to her and it seemed cordial.

I think they get along ok--it's just us that truly hate Staley

Look they respect each other, the hate comes from the fans. Most WBB coaches get along because they all have the same interest in growing the sport. Geno Pat S a rare exception-no love lost there. Met Bama coach in airport once-she loves Kim.

Hoping Mulkey said this game recording will be sent to the NCAA because the refs screwed us.

Did you actually see it in person? Because on tv Kim went in to hug and Staley tried her hardest to not hug and was walking away as Kim was talking.

Even my wife said dang the sweatsuit lady didn’t want a part of that.

I wish I could wear a sweat suit to work. Kind of jealous…

I actually did...I made a point to look after the game. And my seats are pretty low, so I got a good view.

I didn't see pre-game, but this is fairly accurate as far as post-game-- moreso than the less detailed post that follows it.

I mean... it wasn't like the warm hug of a long lost friend or even two mma guys who hug on each other like best buddies after beating each other up at the end of a match. But it wasn't just a "meh" handshake either. They greeted each other cordially & professionally and as they both said something like "good game", Kim paused to tell her something else (presumably a compliment) for maybe two seconds, to which Staley listened and nodded respectfully enough, if I recall correctly.

TLDR: Kim said a little more, and it wasn't a loving exchange, but was absolutely appropriate and professional on both sides. Nothing to make a huge deal of.

Some LSU fans always run to this whenever LSU loses....it's tiresome......there are going to be bad calls both ways....

That's what I thought. Looked like Racist Staley wanted to punch her in her mouth!

She is about the angriest Black woman I’ve ever seen.
And that’s saying something

Mulkey respects Dawn as a coach and person. Not everyone needs to hate each other to be competitors.

That's one of the things I really respect about her.

Staley and KM are friends and have been for awhile.

Staley was more complimentary of Angel Reese and LSU in general than most coaches have been. It is almost like Straley was doing a promo for how good Angel is and how it hurt LSU when she fouled out. I dont like Staley, but I was impressed with what she said.

No, it wasn't.
They embraced for a good 15-20 seconds and Mulkey spoke in Staley's ears (because it was so loud in the PMAC).

When I thought you couldn’t be more of a fake tough guy/loser, you actually are protesting officiating for a women’s basketball game
