Other than pressure washing and maybe painting some area what would you have them do? Other than gutting the old dorms which won’t happen for reasons we all and the cost I think the old boy looks pretty good for 100 years old

You are there to watch a football game. What you need WiFi for?

Use the old dorms for something. Doesn't matter the cost. Use it for high end hotel and/or restaurant, make it part of the stadium for refreshments, open up the space for better flow before, during, or after the game.

I wish they would use some of the space in the NEZ to create a bigger locker room and possibly a better field entrance for the team.

Open wifi is a huge security risk. For both sides of the service.

Dafuq? Every major airport has open wifi and the user signs a terms of service agreement. The data LSU could collect would be useful as well. Not providing wifi due to wpa with no security isn't the reason to not offer it.

My job offers an open wifi as well with a terms checkbox, but it's not heavily used. Sure you can have a separate internet connection that doesn't tie to anything, but now you're investing a lot of money and maintenance into something that really doesn't move the needle.

And if you are connecting to any open wifi (hotel, airports, food places, etc.) make sure you are connecting to a vpn or something. Very easy to get all your shite taken. That's what I'm referring to as well.

I would rather have a team upgrade than a stadium upgrade.

At 57 yrs old I agree from a personal standpoint, but we are in the minority on this one. NFL stadiums have partnered with providers to have true 5G on property. Its a game changer and should be done at LSU. If done correctly, its a no-brainer as the capital outlay is on the vendor. I for one would gladly pay a $20 fee to have campus wide gameday 5G coverage.

Last time, I couldn’t send a text message from anywhere on campus once noon rolled around. It’s also nice to check some other scores. I’m not asking for a lot. Plus, when I’m there, I ain’t leaving early. I do my part.

The LED light shows are such a waste of money. So dumb.

you are very much the minority. everyone was gushing about the environment for the ole miss game. the light shows keep the crowd engaged the whole game. recruits and players LOVE them.

there's literally no negative thing to say about them other than "I'm a grump and don't like change."

As for etickets you better have them loaded and ready when you go to the gate or you will never download them. I screen shot the QR code

bro, the all-in-one pass added to your phone's mobile wallet at the beginning of the year should be set and forget. I don't pull up my tickets until they're scanning the person in front of me.

I think this is something of a misnomer when you consider lost opportunity cost. I realize asbestos removal isn't child's play, but its not like its uncommon, and the amount of money on the table for having those renovated into hotel space and or short term rental space has to be astronomical.

Guess what they have?

Restaurants, clubs, bars and hotels walking distance to Bryant Denny.

Discussed this with a Bama alum a few months ago and they insinuated that all of the great stuff around campus came after the tornado destroyed Tuscaloosa. I've been a few times for sports and concerts but it's all been the last few years so I can't confirm this since it was back in like 2012.

Clean bathrooms are important to the image and brand of LSU

Of course. I’m just saying that I can piss in a trough and be just fine. It can still be clean

LSU needs to invest in Restaurants and Hotels near the campus and stadium.

Eh, adding some moderately priced chain restaurants seems sterile, but I guess it couldn’t hurt. The hotel prices would be astronomical I’m sure.

People leaving early is unusual considering the cost to attend . LSU can’t continue to ignore this problem

Agreed. I couldn’t fathom spending a high amount on tickets and investing a day in tailgating only to bail early, with the exception of a shite game like Bama beating our arse. This is a people issue though. Blaming traffic is such a cop out IMO. Don’t like postgame traffic? Don’t go to the game. It’s not going to magically change.

We finally got the asbestos out of the stadium dorms. We're making slow and steady progress.

Did they really remove the asbestos? When?

Maybe they can build another express overpass away from the stadium and even over the river so the bubbas can stop leaving early due to the “worst post-game traffic in the country”.
