It’s a total double standard that will never be equally applied the other way.
Actually, the response is to the double standard coming from the other direction.

believe what? WGAF? big plays are big plays and it is great sounds like you have an agenda before this season even starts sad
Or those emphasizing Nuss’ yardage are the ones with an agenda. The big play was great to see. It’s great knowing LSU has two solid options at QB. Let’s just not pretend there isn’t a sizable faction of posters here trying to spin everything to tout Nuss as a better option than Daniels.

So many high rated WR’s. It’s time for them all to step up.

I don’t know why we cannot just support our qb no matter who is starting. That’s what our qbs do for each other.

I said the same thing. It’s mind boggling.

Exactly. You see them pounding their chest, and questioning Daniels simply because a RB housed a swing pass.
And I absolutely love Nuss.

Or maybe they were working on something. Relax.
I think this is likely. Moscona said none of the 3 quarterbacks completed a pass that went over 10 yards in the air. That makes me think play calling had something to do with the average numbers

75 of those yards came from a a screen
It doesn't count then, similar to Daniels passes that were dropped.

Everything counts, I don't think anybody is saying it doesn't. But the context is key. Those stats are pretty meaningless, unless they straight up played a legit game.

JD ain’t making the jump people are predicting.
I suspect that much like last year, JD will run hot and cold. On good days he's a terror, hitting his passes and driving the defense crazy with his scrambling. Hopefully his bad days won't be as horrific this year. And if he is having that bad day, I think BK has enough confidence in Nuss to pull the trigger and put him it. Nuss has the skills to open shite up, but there's still concern that he will do something too risky.
Normally a two-quarterback system is a bad idea, but with these two it might make some sense because the skill set is so different. Regardless, I'm sure we'll see a lot of both of them. I'm sure that BK wants to make sure both are getting playing time.
JD makes the offense move steadily and doesn't create turnovers. So it makes sense to have him in early and start. However as we've seen, on a bad day the offense stalls too much. Nuss, on the other hand, can move us downfield fast with that arm, but he might still be a bit turnover prone. That makes him high risk and high return. It would make a lot of sense to bring him in later in the game to catch up on the scoreboard when we are down. The risk of an interception isn't as significant if you are going to lose the game anyway. May as well take your shots.

This was absolutely true about Daniels last year, how much has changed? LSU fans will find out

so 4/7 for 36 w/o the screen
That’s solid, but also very similar to Daniels’ stat line.
Both QBs reportedly made some good intermediate to deep throws during drills. Just let it play out.

That’s a deflection and has nothing to do with my post.

8/11 if passes were not dropped
So Daniels could be losing confidence because of this?

Why are you the way you are? What makes you think he’s “losing confidence?” Honestly.
