A bit of Centenary trivia. Cal Hubbard, who played in the 1920s, is the only person who is a member of both the pro football and baseball halls of fame.

Also of note is that the Tigers didn't get their revenge for this loss, as the 1933 game in Tiger Stadium was a 0-0 tie.

Gotta know the answer to this, my wife went to Centenary and brags about that game to this day.
I then tell her at least LSU still has a team.....and that usually ends that.

Centenary College has always been a private school and yes, at that time they had a football team. Interestingly enough, they had garnered a bit of a reputation and were known as " the little school with a good football team". I do not recall in my readings when the program disbanded, but am aware that they embarassed some pretty big schools in their day. For those who don't know it, one of the buildings of the original college campus still stands in Jackson, LA, which is where the college was located prior to moving to Shreveport.

That would put most of the participants and spectators that are still alive right at ..... 100 years old? Even if they were/are alive they probably don't remember much. Almost as bad as the Baltimore Ravens no-call for holding which will last an eternity as well..
