Does anyone have information of the 1932 game LSU lost to Centenary, 6-0?
The Tigers got two TD's called back by the zebras, who lived in Shreveport. The game was played in S'port which is notorious for home-jobs.
I still lose sleep wondering "what if" about this game...

Bama would've claimed a National Championship after the loss.

I was there I just remember it was pretty cold and we were wearing our Nike Pro Combat uniforms. I vaguely remember a few holding calls that were questionable.

Absolutely we were robbed. We had them down late in the fourth quarter. They had fourth down but there was a face mask penalty against LSU. Back then all face mask penalties were 15 yards and a first down. After the penalty was called no one knew which official threw the flag.

Any loss in LSU history was a screw job by the refs

LSU was so angry after the game that they refused to accept a bid to the Independence Bowl.

Yeah.

Huey was so pissed off over the loss, he had the officials flea-dipped, using the excuse that all animals (zebras included) must be dipped. He then cut off all state funding to Centenary, so they had to become a private school in order to survive.

We should have never been in the position of having the refs decide the game. But what do you expect when you get up into Yankee Land? South Louisiana should have seceded from the union.

Robert Parish scored Centenary's lone touchdown.

Then they figured out he was black and didn't let him play again for another 40 years.

What was so bad about the face mask call is the fact no one played with face masks until 1938.
