It will take a group effort.
Other SEC programs are gonna have to grow some balls.
I do understand why they are scared.
Look what they did to us in the A&M game because we were courageous enough to stand up for what is right and just.

it wont be addressed because the SEC is perfectly fine with this situation. They don't even see it as a problem. When LSU gets hosed and complains about it, LSU just gets labeled as poor sports and complainers. I don't see it ever getting resolved because no in power at LSU really has the gumption or balls to take on these people and are just willing to let it slide.

Do we know what Greedy actually said to the official to draw the flag at the end of the game?
Yes.
He told the ref “yo mommas a whore”
And Greedy was correct.
No way you should get a penalty if you are stating facts.

So Mississippi State did report the bad referee call in their game with BAMA 2 TD by State one phantom interference and can’t rwmember the other call. So he is a new coach and he has started what every team in SEC see as bad calls in all games. If these refs can’t call a correct play then don’t call it at all. All 14 teams must insist there be severe consequences for really bad calls that they alway have film to review or BHAM over turn it or call all the plays if necessary but these employees shouldn’t be BAMA grads.

Actually the national media called out the SEC officiating for that entire day. Mark Packer said LSU fans had a right to be ticked off and that the SEC officiating as a whole was really bad that day.
There is a problem with officiating and it will not get fixed until the member schools get tired of it. We as fans can complain all day but that will not move the needle on the issue. The universities have to take action.

quote:correct. Especially now with instant replay review, most of the close calls get corrected if they're wrong.
LSU has 0 problem with officiating, this is a excuse used by weaker programs. Great programs don't make excuses for losing.
Bitching about officiating, media bias, SEC office corruption, Bama cheating is all sour grapes and excuse-making, and it's pathetic.
Want to win more? GET BETTER. Recruit better, coach better, scheme better.
Whining about outside stuff is childish. Look in the mirror.

I was actually surprised that Shaw said while the Greedy PI call was technically correct it was minuscule and should not have been called. Probably just trying to throw the media a bone to get them off his arse...
The comments made this week by Sankey and Shaw are as far as they will go, but it proves there is a problem and that they know that they have to acknowledge SOMETHING to maintain some credibility. That said, nothing will actually change without something more than this.

The SEC has succeeded in becoming the football version of pro wrestling. The outcomes are predetermined.
To get it fixed, convince another SEC school to bolt for the Big 12 and just leave this joke of a conference.

Well said, when LSU was rolling this fan base never cried over calls.

Conferences do not police themselves. Look at the history of the last 40 years, it is only intervention of the NCAA that forces the conferences to clean up abuses. This has been true in the old SWC, PAC12, Big8, Big10, and even the holier and richer than thou SEC.

Sometimes the officiating does look like it's staged to make an outcome happen. A&M finally prevailing over LSU at home, Jimbo the Savior, etc.
Hell, we saw that Thursday night in the Saints-Cowboys game too. Tons of calls the Cowboys' way. The one that infuriated me the most might have been a non-call late... when they reviewed whether Brees fumbled or threw the ball away. They reviewed to see if he fumbled. It kind of looked like he did, due to being obviously grabbed by the facemask. Nobody even commented on that in the booth.

People who don't realize the SEC is corrupt are naive, the SEC officials are carrying out the orders they are given. The games are beginning to look like professional wrestling, scripted.
From the ridiculous scheduling inequities to the to the on field decisions, LSU is the official SEC putz.
If you are in a poker game and you don't know who the mark is, you are the mark.

You are full of crap dick..I mean speckhead. Remember the Zebras taking away the Auburn game in 2006? That team was the best in the country at the end of the year, no one was going to beat us. Remember the phantom personal foul called on Vadal that cost us the Alabama game? The PP interception that cost us a chance at that game? Literally every game Ritter officiated? The cheating has gone on for a really long time-how is Saban’s “process” allowing tGumps to be the least penalized team in the conference every year while the same coaching staff at LSU was middle of the pack or lower in penalty yards? The other schools are fearful of retribution and our nutless wonder AD is more worried about how to bilk his own fans out of more money than to worry with the SEC going in dry on his football team.

Skanky is taking care of it internally. They all got contract extensions.

All good conspiracy theories need a name. We have the "Birthers" and the "Truthers". I think the name for y'all should be the "Losers".
Posted on 12/4/18 at 8:57 am to Toroballistic
There is no conspiracy. There is incompetence and an old boys club from top to bottom in officiating that cover for each other. They take care of their own, no matter what.
