Doesn't that "miles traveled" line tie into the hype video?

This is why grammar is important in written communication. The simple act of capitalizing a word turn it from what can be read as a distance to a pronoun, in this case a last name that also happens to be the former head coach. While Les Miles had the want to be a high quality offense leader, he often came up short of the desired results.
