A true fan would know the answer to this.

And why is that? It goes against the status quo.

I could easily harp on the other obvious shortcomings of this coach, but have made a stand for what is right for the health of the student athletes.

Of course you don't value the opinion contrary to the geoupthink.

#LsU sent Jaden Hill for an MRI over the weekend. Results were good, but still no timetable on a return Paul Mainieri says that Landon Marceaux and Chase Costello were unavailable this weekend, which is newsworthy

Ma’Khail Hilliard will start tomorrow night against McNeese State, Mainieri says. #LSU will “piece it together” form there.

im assuming you mean the part where i don't like the coach. I lost respect for PM years ago... I don't like millionaire coaches that can't take the heat. In a public setting, whether it is true or not, if the team preforms well, give credit to the kids. If the team does poorly, blame yourself. It's really that simple. I don't feel like rehashing the times manery would throw players under the bus. thats strike one.

I don't like the way that manery recruited kids to LSU. he brought mosquito ball to baton rouge. I get it, with the bat changes all of those years ago, gorilla ball is a thing of the past... but man is it boring to bunt every time you get a runner on first with no outs. so LSU went through a phase where kids were being asked to bunt and couldn't even perform that right... Thats on coach. So he started recruiting the little small runts of the college baseball world while other SEC and national powers would still go after the big hitters. Mix that in with some terribly timed hit and run calls from coach, and its strike two.

Strike three is Jaden Hill. I know yall have read how i feel about that, and because i don't believe the earth is flat, some of the 'E-cool' Baseball know-it-all grammEr nazi's of the board have branded me a troll. whoopity doo. Too many kids are getting their arms torn up at lsu. go ahead and post two or three other teams with more injuries than LSU over the years, but there are over 200 teams. something isn't right. The story for years has been travel ball, travel ball, wah wah wah. Well jaden Hill is NOT a travel ball kid. Something ain't right with the stuff happening behind closed doors.

Want the mack brown of baseball? You got him. No direct recruiting, but always sending your assistants after the rivals top 50, whether they fit your scheme or not.

LSU recruits itself. Come be a superstar on campus for a few years, or go lpug away in the minors.... yeah, its a big selling point.

oh you won a NC in 09? great. but your team was LOADED with MLB players.... why can't we repeat that success?

CPN is as great of a fundraiser, buddy buddy friend with the booster coach as you can find. He will fill up your speaking engagement, and deflect all of the blame to teh kids he doesn't even directly recruit.

Dude sucks, straight up.

Man, sounds like you have it figured out. You should give coaching a try. Or maybe even, like, watch more than a couple games.

For being someone that said he preferred basketball > baseball you have been spending a lot of time voicing your displeasure on a message board of all places.

Can you list some names without deflecting my question per usual? Man up and actually answer this question.

it is more fun to watch lsu basketball, specifically this team built by will wade, than lsu baseball. You may be only able to track one sport at a time, but that doesn't mean I am you.

What is the point of a message board?

This is not even remotely true. Does Maineri put a lot of emphasis on defense? yes and that's how you get a Hal Hughes or a Brandt Broussard but most other SEC teams have those guys too
You don't think Smith, Duplantis, and Watson should be on the team because they are too small?
Beloso and Garza are big but little Gio D. hits better than Garza. Jake Slaughter was a bigger guy but couldn't hit a breaking ball
The Deichmans and Cabreras don't make it to college very often. LSU was lucky they made it to campus

No crap and he doesn't have anything structurally wrong with his arm. It's sore. He's a freshman who hasn't pitched this much before and he has a sore arm

What about a big guy like Chad Spanberger from Arkansas? Oh wait, his first two years on Arkansas' campus he was worse than Jake Slaughter was for us, and we saw how people reacted to Slaughter.

They dont answer my questions... I tried to play that game a week ago, but all they do is upvote each other and post confirmation bias.

I'm not trying to convince the 7 diehard bbq buddies, but tiger nation consists of more than them believe it or not.

This guy.

Who are all the big power hitters in college we decided not to recruit during PM’s tenure? Now give us the list of the players on the roster you would have replaced them with.

We’ve already covered the Jaden Hill/arm theory in countless other threads. Your opinion on the matter is worthless because you choose to ignore the facts others have posted multiple times.

Let me get this straight, you’ve given up on trying to argue against all of the facts that have been posted which explain why your opinion is wrong. Instead, you’ve taken to making outlandish claims about posters who post the facts you choose to ignore, saying they believe the world is flat.

Fascinating.
