Had to cancel. Makes me sick. I was looking forward to this trip all summer. Just too busy with work. Also didn’t feel comfortable leaving kids at home with babysitter with no power. Even with whole house generator, just too much could happen.

No. I’m here and ready to roll.

What the hell does this mean? I’m not a child either but my kids wanted to go and I wasn’t going to disappoint them. So we drove to Dallas and landed in LA this morning.
I fail to see how that makes me a child.

I live in SF Bay Area and friends with season tickets to Giants baseball asked me why there were so many people in LSU gear at game last night.
Not bad. The LSU fans are only a 5 or 6 hour drive away from the Rose Bowl.

Obviously it’ll impact some fans ability/desire to travel but “half” is retarded.
LSU fans are more than just south la

amount to sway the result of the game
That commonly held belief is grossly overated. Just look at the 2019 season results: Tigers were outfanned by a ratio of about 10:1 vs Texas, Alabama, Miss St and Ole Miss, yet they won all those games. Also outnumbered by about 3:1 by Georgia fans in Atlanta, yet they pummeled the Dogs. Not to mention last year's Florida game whereby Gator fans probably prevailed by a 25:1 margin.
It's ridiculous to think the players are preoccupied with the fans when they're competing out on the gridiron.

There's a big contingent of Tigers in S. California.

Do you need any Pepto? That helps with the GI tract symptoms. Also, a hot beverage made from the decanted liquid of boiled whole pineapple (including leaves and rind), sliced lemon and gingerroot helps A LOT in easing the COVID symptoms. I do this regularly even though I'm fully vaccinated.

That's given that there's no overturned tractor-trailer on the 5, or a wildfire out of control somewhere along the route.
