Did Hurricane Ida stop any of you from making the UCLA Trip?

I heard on Sportstalk 790 just now that about half the fans that were planning on going aren’t going to make it because of the Hurricane. This was in reference to another reason as to why you should bet on UCLA.

I find that to be untrue because if you already bought airfare, tickets and hotel accommodations, you would stand to lose quite a bit and what would be the return? Two days of replacing carpet of chainsaw usage that is probably already completed or can wait until next week? It just doesn’t add up.

Also, LSU’s biggest alumni base is Houston, not Baton Rouge or New Orleans, and most who make this trip will fly out of IAH or Hobby.

Anyone who was flying out of MSY originally can switch to IAH or a closer airport without paying a penalty, so to someone who really wanted to go and spent a lot of time and money in preparation for this trip, it seems they would gladly rearrange their trip itinerary.

I switched my flights over to Atlanta airport. I am in Pasadena now. Lot's of Tigers here, but not an overwhelming number. I hope they flood in today and take over a few places. Barney's Beanery was pretty good last night. Hoping it really rocks tonight.

I’m sure plenty but the idea that LSU was ever bringing an amount to sway the result of the game is retarded.

Yes. I‘ll be a placeholder as long as I make it into the stadium by 4:30pm.

I get to wear 18 as well.

All out flights got fricked up. Mostly cause MSY is a fricking joke and NOLA is a flaming dumpster.

But my group of 6 adjusted on the fly and we will be there tomorrow morning!

being completely serious but whenever we have a big away game like this someone should set up a charter with the airlines, doesn't have to be a group deal, no hotel package or anything, just tell the airline where you'd like to go, when you'd like to return, and how many seats you need, then either put it up on here or build a web site for it, not as expensive as you'd think and don't have to rely on the scheduled flights

I was offered a free ticket last minute yesterday because someone couldn't go.....after researching last minute plane trips I politely declined.

Out of our group of 20 only 10 were able to make it. MSY is the worst. We all had to fly out of Pensacola.

Group of 6 cancelled. Got most of the trip refunded, except for airbnb which I'll be raising hell with as soon as I have the time/energy.

We're not going on vacation while our friends/family are trying to pick up their lives in Lafourche/St Charles Parishes.

I would imagine most further west would go.
