Jayden is a completely different QB from the FSU game. He looked like the same Jayden from early last season in that game……scared to let it rip and run first mentality. He was trying to do everything himself and didn’t trust his teammates (some of that was warranted of course).

Jayden right now (IMO) is the best QB in the country…….I don’t give a frick what the media says about Caleb Williams. The way Jayden grew and turned his weaknesses into strengths IN SEASON is one of the most impressive things I’ve ever seen in football (on any level).

FSU played a great game in that game, so credit to them. But Jayden’s confidence in his passing ability (and his receivers) would make a HUGE difference if they were to play again

Diggs not playing has to make you wonder what would have happened in those early short yardage situations

100% agree with this.

have read several Tiger fans saying it was a fluke; that Nabers slipped. He slipped because he was manhandled.

I guess manhandled is one way to look at it. I always thought that degree of contact beyond 5 yards was illegal contact/PI, but that's just me.

Look if you want to say FSU was the best defense LSU has played to this point I'll agree. If you want to say JD5 was not as sharp as he would be from then on, I'll agree with that too. Although the degree to which some denigrated him for his performance that game...IMHO that was waaaay overplayed.

But if you want me to say they shut us down and our offense and JD5 were terrible - no.

There wasn’t a blueprint as much as we didn’t know ourselves as well as we do now. Plus we shot ourselves in the foot by dropping passes. And the cherry on top was not having Diggs.

Idk if we beat FSU if we played them again but I do believe it’s be a one possession game that came down to the wire.
