Yep my hands were tied from work and I couldn’t get off for SEC championship. frick that this time I am going see the GOAT in person in his LSU uniform for the last time. Myself, my two sons and my brother will be in Atlanta representin and hopefully it’s a win then I know the super dome will be packed with purple and gold. Great time to be a tiger

Couldnt make it to the SECCG but I have the opportunity to buy a ticket to both the playoff game and the Natty.

Thinking i'll just grab the natty ticket and sell if worst case scenario happens. It would cost me about the same amount of money to go to ATL with both tickets being face value.

We laid a bunch of cheese down on LSU to win the SECCG in the Mississippi casinos on the way to Atlanta so we would have money for the playoff games

Easiest money I've ever made

No, I was there in Atlanta this weekend, but I want to try to make the semifinal too. SECCG, we bought tickets early at a premium and stayed 3 nights in a downtown hotel. I'm thinking of watching the prices and grabbing tix if they drop in price the week of the game, and staying 1-2 nights at a hotel convenient to MARTA (have to figure out what hotel that might be). I don't think I can make NOLA, unfortunately.

Had to work this past Saturday otherwise I’d have been there.

I’ll be in attendance on the 28th though.

Can’t make the ATL game due to family vacation already booked but we will be in NOLA for the NCG.

This thread makes me somewhat nervous that we are going to have a weak showing for the semi-final. I wonder just how many people will refrain from going in the hopes of attending the championship game in NOLA instead. Hopefully I'm wrong and we will fill MB stadium.

Stay in Buckhead, Its less than 10 miles from the stadium and a much nicer area. There were plenty of rooms available for the SEC Championship.

I remember when so many Tiger fans skipped out on the 2011 SECCG because they said they were saving up for the NC game in NOLA. Fast forward to January 9th and the Superdome was 75% Gumps. It was embarrassing.

The playoff sites couldn't have worked out better for us in terms of cost and ease of travel. Yes, I know we just played in Atlanta, but this is the freaking semifinals...our first ever. We should pack the place with purple and gold. Tickets and hotels aren't outrageous like they will be in NOLA, besides, the team deserves our support.

If 40K UGA fans can travel across the country from Georgia to LA to watch the Dawgs play OU in the 2017 CFP semifinals, why can't we get 25K Tiger fans to make the 7 hour trip to Atlanta?

I could not agree more. It would be quite an unflattering statement about our fanbase if we cannot dominate the crowd in our first national semi-final as an undefeated number one seed with a Heisman winning QB, particularly when the game takes place in Atlanta, SEC territory.

But still I'm concerned. Too many fans seem to just assume we'll be in the NC game and that we wont need vocal support during the semi. We'll see.

I did it every home and away game for 7 years out of ATL to Baton Rouge.

It's exhausting and I feel ya.

Nope. Going to both.

By the looks of it Semifinal tickets will be cheap come gametime because there's 11,000 for sale on stubhub. Usually it's like 2-3,000.

We will likely never see another QB like Burrow in our lifetimes, or have a team that's so much fun to watch. Please attend if you can. If you can't attend, then please make sure your tickets end up in the hands of other Tiger fans. We received the best possible playoff location in terms of cost and ease of travel. It would be a shame if we don't take advantage of it.

I tried to get a ticket $10 over cost and the stingy bastards didn't come off it...

I live south of ATL...easy trip for me
