As for Danielson ,whike not my favorite color guy I do actually like him. He gets confused quite a bit like yesterday but he does do homework on the teams he covers and is actually quite informed. He jus plays favorites but don't they all? Keith Jackson, the best that ever did it, was quite the USC fan boy in the early 2000s. Doesn't take away from his greatness but he almost cried when Vince Young scored in the ship game. Musberger was the same at the end. Pure USC/ west coast lover at the end. Herbie is a Bama lover. Maybe it's just narrative dictated by ESPN/ABC/Disney but the lead color guys always seem to favor the big boy on the block.

Don't forget about Baskerville and Clark also. Then the guys we have coming in this year are also AA type of LBs. We are good for years there.

GD and Verne were a team. Verne would boom "OHH NOOOOOOOOO!!" whenever LSU did anything good or made a big play. GD learned some bias technique from Verne.

Also, was it just me, or was Danielson’s analysis of Auburn’s short TD throw way off the mark? His whole point was that Delpit lost his assignment (the RB), but the coverage failure was at the back of the end zone. That seemed kinda weird.

I like how Gary circles a LSU linebacker before the snap one play and says Auburn needs to stop this guy because he is blitzing.
Right before halftime Gary says now Auburn just needs to run the clock out and go in with the lead.
Before the game winning field goal Gary was saying Auburn needs to try to get a push to block this. After the kick goes through Gary was just about speechless. He had been pulling for Auburn the entire game and they just lost.

Danielson is only about giving love to the higher ranked team. I don’t know why so many of y’all like him. He was talking about how it’s impossible to gameplay Auburn’s offense and how it’s the best in the country....that ‘best offense in the country’ got outgained by a sub 50% QB.

You heard that wrong. He was talking about an Alabama defender named White during our game but was wiping the bama jizz off his face so you misheard what he said and thought he meant Devin

I thought the same thing. It wasn't Delpit's man who scored. I watched the play several times and it was clear to me that Danielson had no idea what he was talking about.
