I didn't know if this thread would be about his band-aid or his dong . Seems like both elements have been represented well.

I thought Vernel was going to be a better pro than Robert Horry.

And I thought a variation of that name was going to be the inspiration for one of his cinematic AirBnB performance roles.

In 2012 the band-aid thread showed up, so I messaged him on Facebook Messanger...here is his reply!

I've thought it was gerald for thirty years lmao. When we had Shaq Stanley And Chris Jackson, we had three people that probably should've been doubled every time they Touched the ball. We definitely should've won the ship. Kenny Anderson Dennis Scott and Brian Oliver of Georgia Tech beat us when Chris had the flu

When you have a team with Vernel as a “contributor “ you know you’re stacked. How that team didn’t win more .., well you know the story.
Dude played his guts out every night.

We were up something ridiculous like 30 to Seven . Or by 20 like you said. It was so long ago, I remember calling this phone number that would give you scores for college games. Because I was out at work and obviously there weren't cell phones then. I got home and we were losing I think

Mo Williamson went for 30 in the NCAA tourney vs BYU. It was overshadowed by Shaq’s triple double

High energy and could jump out the gym. Would love to have a player like him every year.
