Did anyone else think the timing of the articles by Yahoo were sketchy?

One right after the Tennessee win, and the other right after we beat Kentucky. Tin foil hat or not to me that's a pretty big and convenient coincidence.

This was brought up several times after each article was dropped.

So yeah, other people did think the timing of the Yahoo articles was sketchy.

Not sure sketchy is the right word..nor is it a coincidence

Its just common practice in media. News dumps are calculated and not random. That is not a conspiracy, that is just how the industry works to get its clicks

Seems like some nice Healthy Louisiana lawyers should actively be sending letters making sure that media outlets like this know that litigation is a possibility fricking around sending out these reports. That way they cease and mess with some other cuck University

I wouldn't call them sketchy but they were absolutely calculated

When you realize that many journalists are paid to print articles at buyers behest it's not so sketchy.

It happens all the time. Mostly in politics. A lot less in sports but happens nonetheless.

In politics the FBI works with the New York Times. The State Department and ODNI works with CNN. And the CIA works with the Washington Post.

Hell, Hillary and the DNC paid Mary Jacoby and Glenn Simpson with Fusion GPS to write the fake dossier they disseminated to David Corn at Mother Jones and Michael Isakoff at Yahoo News as part of the fake MUH Russia conspiracy.

People and organizations with agendas pay journalist to print propaganda to suit their narrative all the time.

We might have opened this arena when we started putting billboards up.

There are more effective means of mass communication than billboards; the internet is obviously the main one. And while influencing ESPN might be tough, someone desperate for clicks like Yahoo Sports would be a lot easier. And once the story starts, it will spread.

Of course. Pat Forde is bought by other programs to sabotage their enemies

It's both. It's really not that far fetched for a Kentucky booster to pay Pat Forde who happens to live in Louisville to run hit pieces on a team and their point guard who was the first recruit to spurn Calipari in Coach Calipari's AAU recruiting pipeline. Furthermore that team beat Calipari on his home court and won the SEC regular season title. How do you stop this team? Get their head coach suspended or fired and ruin their recruiting cycle and hopefully their basketball program.

You may want to consider different news sources.

Waste of time. Journalists have a lot of leeway. Additionally if you read those Yahoo articles there are always statements toward the end that give the journalists an out...that gives them plausible deniability. So you can make all the salacious implications at the beginning of the article and toward the end (which no one reads including Alleva) says this may or may not be true.

Yahoo has some weird hatred of LSU. No getting around it. I'm guessing Cal is paying off his buddies at Yahoo to try and take down Will Wade

It's all about the clicks and numbers for advertising money.

The big Yahoo! story followed the win over Florida (pretty much securing the SEC regular season title). I don't recall anything specifically being released after Tennessee and Kentucky wins...other than people whining about calls.
