LSU players should make a deal with Yale. If LSU wins the series, then their boys have to take the midterms for our boys.

There really is no reason why we can't go on the road for one premier OOC series every season. Would make a great trip for the team and fans. Cue excuse about $.

We're playing in the Astros tournament next year.

Half of this board had a stroke because we played a single game in New Orleans on opening weekend. Just imagine the reaction if we played an entire OOC series away. Last time we did so was '07 IIRC

Most people were fine with playing at the opening of Maestri field. When they knew the stadium wouldnt be ready the game should have been moved to BR.

Not on Mardi Gras weekend. It's generally pretty empty

If three games break the bank, we have big problems.

I hate having to wait for the SEC to really see how good the team is. I understand they play in the best conference and want to protect against possibly having a mediocre conference season and miss the national tournament but come on. There are a bunch of good teams in Texas they could start with.

LSU should never play UNO at Maestri Field... either Zephyr or you don't host LSU.

Other than being cold as frick, I enjoyed the game there in '09. Close to the field, tickets weren't too much, and $5 pint size beers.

I'd rather watch a game vs an Ivy League team than some random OOC state school.

Mainieri has a lot of contacts with coaches from the north from his Notre Dame coaching days and those schools have to play away from home to start the season. I know you know that, I'm just reminding the other posters, tvarisch.
