You think Queen, Jefferson, Delpit or Phillips should have stayed?

Smith stayed at Bama because he had been overlooked behind Waddle, Jeudy, and Ruggs. He was the 10th best projected receiver in the draft last year. Harris isn’t in the top three Heisman vote getters on his team, let alone the country.

All of the failed drug tests they've piled up suddenly won't be so secret when it comes to NFL scouts if they leave early

Neither was a candidate last year or even a first rounder.

Don’t just sell the NFL. Sell the first round contract

I can think of another reason: money

Yep, LSU is totally not paying its players.

Our fans look like little bitches when they make this argument.

I don't know that for a fact. What I do know is THEY ARE DOING SOMETHING that makes these players stay another year "for free", and risk their body and draft position. While the majority of LSU's players are opting out to protect their draft value. Now Einstein, what on God's green earth could cause a young man to do that. Hmmmm???????????

Devonta Smith and Najee Harris both improves their stock. Moses should have left but was missed all of last year and didn’t want to leave with that taste in his mouth. He wanted to play his last year.

It’s not some conspiracy. They all had legit reasons for staying. We need to learn how to convince our guys that staying can make you more money. We need Our guys to learn delayed gratification.

H Town, your blanket non-specific response to my post being completely wrong forced me to reconsider my opinion. You are right. I was completely off base thinking bama pays these guys HANDSOMELY to stay and not go pro. They do it for their love for bama and who gives a damn about my future NFL prospects. I have seen the light bruh.

Glad I could help, one thing this world desperately needs is fewer morons

That’s true

So you have proof of this?

Who specifically are you talking about? Tua? Willis? Ruggs? Jeudy? McKinney because all five of those guys went pro after their junior season last year.

D Smith may win the Heisman but more importantly he probably was at best a late 2nd early 3rd rounder in the 2020 draft. He has most certainly improved his draft stock to the mid first.

N Harris may have improved his stock as well but mostly because this isn’t supposed to be as a good RB draft. If he had gone pro it would not have changed their season at all

LSU has had guys stay 4 years (L Collins T White) some kids stay some go the real difference for Bama is they recruit at an entirely different level so the team never drops off that’s because Saban is the best to ever do it not because they cheat more

How in the world does Ala. get these guys to stick around for their senior seasons?

Because Saban’s players hate him, because he is an evil man. That’s why so many stay for their optional year. Sort of gives the lie to that old Rant myth, doesn’t it?

H Town, take the win homie. I told you I've seen the light. Neither LSU or bama cheats, some of bama's elite players come back just because they LOVE tuscaloser. NONE of our guys do. Got it.
