I don't blame him for hating on LSU fans, the majority of this fan base are morons. I'd be an arse to if my living dealt with interacting with those particular fans.
I also don't see how him being an arse towards fans equates to him hating the LSU program. That's another staple of the morons in this fan base, thinking a radio host who graduated from LSU and covers LSU, hates LSU. So stupid.

He should turn pro and enjoy everything he's worked for. Buy a nice house with some land and a kick arse barn and pasture for Daisy Mae and future horses and finish your degree during the next two off-seasons. You've played for free and been selfless long enough. Guice loved BR and the team as well and he's a prime example of you never know what the next down holds. None of the professionals on this board would pass up a "promotion" with an 18M signing bonus for work family or the ability to help their current employer hit next years goals, that is the employers' responsibility. What "theatrics" could there really be? It's not like he's going to sit at a table with an LSU on it, only to pull out a dog from under the table wearing a "NFL" t-shirt to announce his decision.
He'll probably just talk about how much he loves LSU, and that it was a tough decision to leave early. If nothing else, I expect it to be a great recruiting pitch to other potential players. I think he genuinely loved playing here and that will show

Homeboy yesterday said Devin told him he was staying and suddenly an announcement today. I'm intrigued. If that guy is wrong or lying I think he deserves to take more shite from us than Tiger Ree from here on out.

And sure there are examples, but they're few and far between. Most top picks opt to leave, which I think makes the most sense.
