The criticism of White is that he freestyles and doesn’t play within a scheme and stick to his assignments. The fact that he can’t seem to get a multi-year deal suggests he’s not valued by teams as a key defender in spite of his athleticism. I don’t see why this is controversial.

My only critique of the critique is that the name of the game is to play. Getting contracts, 1 year, 3 years, etc. it doesn't matter. He's been able to stick around in the league

And for the record, he had 174 tackles with the Raiders last season. 3rd in the NFL.

Like I said - he just started 17 games for the raiders last season & led the team in tackles. He’s pretty good

Tackles are not an indicator of play level, Jimmy. It’s not 1991 anymore.
