Still trying to figure our how Bo Pellinins screwed up as good a players
as Clark. He went from a very promising freshman to a complete liability as a sophomore, then to an all American as a junior

Brooks was probably a little better, but hard to compare because Brooks
was on the outside and was so powerful. Whit played the middle, but was a true sideline to sideline linebacker, that made plays all over the field

He's been one of the lowest graded LBs in the NFL for years now. Not trying to pile on but this is objectively true. He will have been on 4 teams in 4 years for a reason.

He is one of my all time favorites, but he makes poor reads and is out of position a lot of the time.

NFL players have short careers. He had a great first 3-4 years and has lost a step and isn’t quite as good. Pretty typical, still a great career which isn’t over btw

Or he ends up in a sophomore slump because the NFL figured him out

So happy for DWhite. He was a phenomenal Tiger, and has proved out completely in the NFL.

Devin was a physical freek in college and it covered up alot of his flaws. Much like Leonard Fournette did on the offensive side in college but when they made the jump to the NFL their weaknesses were exposed. For Devin I think he could not recognize how to read coverages and he took himself out of a lot of plays. For Leonard Fournette he lacked the vision to recognize where holes were. They played alot longer than most based on physical talent though. Great Tigers but at most average to good players in the NFL. They both got rings so good for them.

I know your whole stick is being a troll and annoying. But you are being an a-hole here. Devin White has objectively had a better than average NFL career and had a few years of all pro level play while making a shite load of money. Oh and he won a Super Bowl, what else do you want?

2021 was Daronte Jones, but when Ed O was canned the defense improved dramatically.

A simple internet search will feed you the same information. What fricking planet on you on to think this is a “stick”?

All I said was that he had 3-4 years of great play and has not been as good since he lost a step but is still in the league. That’s all true. If he is as bad as you are pretending he is, he wouldn’t keep getting jobs.

Sigh
Making a team /=/ having a great career
Making a team /=/ puts you in the hall of very good

So what do you consider a great career?
8 years and counting
An all-pro team
A pro-bowl
A Super Bowl
$65million+ earnings
That’s not a great career in your eyes?
According to AI the average NFL career is 3.3 years, the average NFL LB career is 2.97 years. The average NFL LB career earnings is $11.88 million.
So he’s at a minimum WAY above average. Just admit you’re wrong

11 and 7 were pretty damn good.....but 40 is the best.

You mean Bo Pelini. Damone was benched in 2020 under Bo and he regressed because of O and Bo. 2021 was Daronte Jones and he improved drastically when O was fired and removed himself from the defensive gameplan and Daronte was able to call the defense the way he intended.
Matt House although he ruined development of some players had nothing to do with Damone Clark.

Let’s not forget Blake Baker was the LB coach for that Daronte Jones defense and most likely helped Daronte game plan.

He was the 5th pick in the draft and cannot stick on a team because he isn't good.
You have his career earnings wrong(shocking). And most of that came with his rookie deal. He has not seen a significant contract since because...he is not good. He has been a 1yr deal merchant...because he is not good.

You’re throwing this around way too easily, but as previously mentioned - I guess it is your schtick.
Devin White is a very good LBer. Won the Butkus award in 2018 & was the #5 overall pick. He just started 17 games for the Raiders last year & was their leading tackler with 95 tackles (3rd in NFL)
There are a lot of very good LBer in the NFL. That does not mean Devin White is not good
