Devin White Character Issues????

In some of the threads where people are trying to convince others that White is staying, a few people reference some character issues early in his career.
I don’t remember anything like that. Since he got to LSU he always seemed like a really good kid.
Did something happen off the field that I don’t remember? Why are some saying he owes LSU another year for sticking by him early in?

He had a carnal knowledge issue while still a juvenile or something close to that. It was cleared up before he ever came to LSU.

I have no idea what you're referring to, but this sentence clears it up.
Fans want these guys to stay so bad that they're totally irrational. LSU is making so much money off of these kids and will continue to do so even after they leave. These players don't owe LSU shite.

Forgot to feed his horse one morning. PETA found out and dressed like horses while on a hunger strike to protest. Doesn’t sound too bad until you find out Devin got a little drunk at a party one night and mistakenly rode one of the protesters around for about an hour thinking they were Daisy Mae.

He was arrested like twice in three weeks if I remember correctly. The second time was because he and a high school teammate had sex with a 14 year old (he was 17) at the time and the father filed a complaint. The UA game dropped him but MIles and LSU stood by his side.

He was indeed arrested for a second time in a brief window of time not long before NSD. Saban and others slightly backed off of him but Miles and LSU stood by his side and only pressed harder.

A daddy got mad because his 14 yr old daughter was giving up the assets to the high school football star...end of story.

He was a senior in HS, had sex with a freshman. Her dad found out and pressed charges, because he was 17 and she was whatever age kids are when they are freshman in HS. I am not sure I would consider that as having "character issues".

Devin is up there with Tyrann, Leonard, and Rohan Davey as my all time favorite Tigers. He's the definition of a leader.
