Absolutely right. Canada's making more money than most head coaches and still wants out.
What does that say about Orgeron as a program manager?

Why do people ALWAYS forget that getting the boot after one year on the job is a Canada specialty? But of course, it's Orgeron's fault.

That he made a bad hire. Who hasn't made a bad hire or expected more from a new employee? Sometimes they just don't pan out. Canada doesn't like to stay in the same spot and likes to move, doesn't seem like it's anything O did. Just seems normal Canada.

Lol, yet after one year his main hire wants out and rumors circulated all season about them not being on the same page
Head coaches often don't get along with their assistants and the relationship doesn't work out, either for philosophical or personality reasons. This can happen with great coaches or shitty coaches. From Saban on down to the crappiest coaches in the country, coordinators get ran out of town in one season (or sometimes less).
The fact that the Orgeron-Canada relationship may not work out does not reflect negatively or positively on Orgeron as a coach.

Nothing?
This place is like a beauty shop. Nothing but rumor.

But that 1.5 million was supposed to make a difference, wasn't it?
You O-pumpers were hollering how the money would stabilize Canada. Now you want to crawfish out.
If the money we're paying coordinators will not keep "elite" ones, then the whole reason we hired a position-coach-cheerleader for head coach collapses.
I and others have said repeatedly this Orgeron system is built on a house of cards and will collapse.
We're seeing evidence of it now.

A reasoned neutral response.
Who the hell are you!?!

I won’t be surprised since there has been little said about his recruiting visits.

I don't believe it. The poster here that was eating the other day said his waitress asked Canada about his intentions. He said he just put in a pool at his house!
Oh, that's right! I had forgotten that. Canada is staying for certain, I'm convinced of it!

The whole point of this O "experiment" is the coordinators being elite and being allowed to do their job.
We already know the allowed to do their job part was compromised at one point and now after ONE season the elite part will come into question as well.
Yet the CherriO's think this is great and needed and a sign that a great man is in charge of the program.
ETA: Oh and he's been around some good offenses so he knows what kinda offense he wants...what a joke

Most people don't give a damn. Just take it game by game and you'll be much happier.

If Ensminger is the next OC the LSU fan base will make sure that 2018 will be O's last season at the helm. At best O is a DL line coach. Nothing more and nothing less. Maybe Canada will hire him at ULL if he promises to enable the the DL players to understand what he is saying besides " Go Tigers".

Can O quit trying to recreate the USC offense? He's potentially running off not only a decent OC but a good QB developer. Brennan could have been elite under Canada. Football has changed and Canada has a modern way of moving the ball. Have fun dropping back with 3 steps and getting sacked by Bama 6x a game and being predictable. Our offense was entertaining this year. So what if we run a lot of jet sweeps? Many have been explosive plays and helped win the Florida and Auburn games.
+1
I love the jet sweeps and pre-snap motion. It was obvious to me that LSU's offense was much less predictable this season than in times past. Hell, LSU even caught Alabama napping on some pass plays (we just didn't have the accuracy to complete the long passes that were there) and was actually able to run for 153 yards against them. I'm still convinced that Brennan, with his accuracy, can be quite effective in Canada's offense. I just wish the coaching staff would do whatever it takes to incorporate the screen pass into the offense and practice it until they can run it routinely. That would go a long way to overcoming the pass rushers of teams like Alabama.

A statement of the facts as I see them is far from a melt brother.
It is what it is. A statement of facts as I see them. Call it what makes you feel better though.
