I'm in Ethiopia in a small town that only has one main building - a school/church - the rest are huts. You have to walk 8 miles barefoot to get a coke. At church Sunday the Ethiopian preacher really tore into Alleva. This is bad, real bad, internationally bad.

1.) I hope you brought your own food, Ethiopian food is like eating baby food with a bland pancake.

2.) frick Florida

3.) F'king Alexander and Alleva do have to go. Will Wade is the best thing that he's done, and Nunez was really the one behind that. I'm actually ok with the O hire, but how they went about it, and how they handled getting rid of Les, was a shite show. Speaking of frick Florida, there was that whole situation. He almost did the right thing by standing up to them and Slive, but then managed to make LSU go on the road to Florida 2 years in a row, AND lose a home game that season anyway AND still managed to somehow come off as the a-hole in the national media. It takes a special kind of inadequacy to screw something up that royally. And don't even get me started on fricking Aramark.

Exactly.

What happened at Duke will follow him wherever he goes, as sure as his shadow.

Our beloved institution cleans house with a dirty mop, and everyone sees it.

That commentator expressed an opinion.
If football coaches were the only measure, Jeremy Foley would be a failure.
LSU’s hoops program is on the rise; baseball and softball have outstanding leadership; gymnastics is elite. Facilities are great and improving.
Women’s hoops needs new leadership which will come.
The Destin guy has no clue regarding agents. Agents are supposed to represent their clients and LSU is still a destination job with resources to pay for a great coach.

yep he shouldn’t have been hired in the first place. Thank god for Nunez getting wade here or I’m sure alleva would’ve fricked that hire up as well. The man is a joke and needs to be fired

I never have liked Alleva. Coming from Duke a basketball school, I knew he'd never appreciate or understand the importance of football-the money, the tradition, economic impact. He doesn't "get" the sec & still doesn't. He should have been gone long time ago!

The Wade hire was (hopefully) a blind hog (Alleva) finding an acorn.

You're not the boss of me now.

I’m on Voyager 2 and Deep Space background radiation out here is blasting Alleva.

It is not just in the panhandle area. Was in Little Rock 2 weeks ago and in Houston last month and the radio stations were bashing Alleva and thereby LSU. Not good!

Good Lord - Destin, Little Rock, Houston - Ole Joe’s numbers are getting as low as Trump’s. Next thing you know, Joe will starting tweeting.

Reminder:

Alleva ruined lives and careers over the word of a lying, murdering whore (yes, she later stabbed her boyfriend to death) against a collegiate team under his control.

The perfect karma for that worthless SOB is to be fired from LSU over false #metoo accusations.

Weird.

When I was in Uganda they were all wearing "Joe Alleva - Athletic Director Of The Year" shirts.

Whatever you do, don’t listen to that station (100.3) at 4 pm weekdays. Scott Moore is the biggest gump in the area and he only talks Alabama even though he says it’s We talk SEC. In the morning, Jake Mitchell actually does a good job talking sports but he’s a Falcon Fan.

I don't think Alleva is this stupid, but who knows. I have 0 confidence in him as is.

Alleva could pay him and upgrade the facilities and Wade would still leave bc LSU just isn't a basketball school like the bluebloods every coach wants to be at...

That's was my main complaint with him in the Tom Herman deal.

He showed no negotiation, marketing, promotional or salesmanship skills what so ever in that entire affair.

At least put out some effort to show TH the advantages of coaching at LSU. Sell your fricking school.

He did nothing and should've been terminated for negligence right then and there.

Why the frick is he still employed at LSU?

Oh yeah, I momentarily forgot. Louisiana is the Mediocrity State and LSU is the Mediocrity University. LSU sponsors the Mediocrity football program as well.

So you have inside knowledge as to what alleva did or did not do in negotiations with TH? Damn, I haven't given you enough cred as an lsu insider.

What if I told y'all I heard a New Pmac is being built closer to the River in part for North Stadium expansions and also to make Wade a happy basketball coach and legend at LSU?

Please before you spew this stuff look at the history of Alleva being here.

Number one he has never been afraid to pay a coach that is winning. He actually gets bashed on here for giving extensions and raises too soon in a contract when people are winning and another school comes calling. (Miles and Maineiri)

Number two with all his flaws upgrading facilities has been something Alleva has been really good at raising money to do and doing.
