Talent looks good on paper. If Dupre and lacouture come back, would give some senior leadership along with Etling and Chark. LSU is going to be very young. On the road at Bama, Uf, Ole Miss, and Tennessee isn't appealing.

I think Chark will go pro. (Hope not!)

Malone isn't coming back next year. We need a helluva freshman class.

Tenn and Ole Miss are dumpster fires right now and Tenn is losing lots of talent

Greedy Williams can/may also play the safety position

Austin Deculus quite possibly could be starting somewhere on O-line as the season progresses. The staff loves his potential.

Was just about the post the same thing about Deculus. I expect him to start as a freshman like Whitworth did. He's that good. Has great strength already and is just in a bad mood on the field.

Also Jacoby Stevens will be as good as Jamal Adams. He's a ball hawk...great ball skills with the ball in the air.

Yeesh...secondary is going to have to grow up quick. Good thing is the front half of our schedule is really light

Think about Marvin Wilson and Tyler Shelvin in the mix on DL. The DL is going to be beastly.

You left Lanard Fournette off the depth chart. He will actually be an interesting change of pace back in a spread system. He was also getting some reps at WR, right?

I know he's still down the depth chart at both positions, but he should still be on there.

Since we have a few TEs, I am wondering what happens to all the FBs and Ducre with the shift in offense. Wouldn't be surprised to see a few transfers and position shifts before it's all said and done.

How about someone that can kick the damn ball in the end zone. Kickoffs and coverage has been, and is still, a disaster.

Not to the NFL. I am not saying anything else but his heart is not in football.

Nice list, well done.

OFF looks about right IMO. I too see Clapp moving to C opening a G spot for Broomfield.

DEF has more questions. Secondary has MANY unproven guys, but the talent is there. I would slide Divinity to ILB. At his ht and 234lbs, he would be a fast thumper with White. C. Thompson goes to the other OLB spot opposite Key. Believe he use to be a S, so his cover skills should be abv avg. He might be that hybrid LB/S next season for us.

Bottom-line: cupboard is still full. Hopefully the incoming class has 4-5, or more, that can contribute. Oh...and we need a PK that can put it consistently into the end zone. Gamble appears to have the leg, but his technique of getting under the ball needs attn. No reason this team should not compete well in 17.

Whitworth started as a redshirt freshman in '02.

I'd like to buy Donte Jackson, at what he's worth, and sell him, at what he thinks he's worth.
