I would just like to see us play the first half like we play the 4th quarter. Seems like we just never get going til after halftime.

It’s because we have depth…..that doesn’t work so well against other sec teams with just as much depth

That’s just ridiculous! You think maybe he didn’t coach in SEC had anything to do with it ? Duh! JD is going to be fine, he is by far our best option to win

Kelly wants Daniels as his quarterback but then he wants him to stay in the pocket and be that type of qb.
Daniels still tries to run much too often as he either can't find receivers or doesn't want to risk a throw. So since Daniels will not change if Kelly still keeps him as qb then the way he uses him has to change. Roll him out of the pocket. At least then if he can't find a receiver he will have a better chance of gaining some yardage with his legs. Then perhaps the defensive backs will come off their guy to contain the run and Daniels will have some easy short throws.

If you want to be better in the system next year, you have to run it this year with the quarterback best able to run it.

Actually, you’re point indicates that it is a QB issue. I’m not defending Denbrok because he isn’t fixing it. But throwing to the TE this much indicates the QB lacks confidence to throw to the WRs.

Ok, I mean burrow checked down all the time but it was to CEH and he would make plays. Whatever, the routes suck and we are designing plays to get the ball to a freshman TE that drops 50 percent of the passes. Everyone saw JD had his worst game but if you want to put it all on the QB go for it.

Nuss has passed the balls 96 times in an LSU uniform. Most of them didn't look very good. We have no good straight passers on the roster, so we'll need to make do without.
