He’s really good but LSU has had some stud shortstops. He’s not better than Bergman. Might be equal but not better

Bregman had an ability to fricking dance around the infield and make plays that ended up on ESPN each week … Kramer thought he could do the same (probably because the media hyped him so much because of his family) and it ended up costing him a play or two. He was good, but he didn’t quite have that kind of magic.

Kramer also carried himself as if he had the same level of talent Bregman had. Bregman was a gigantic douchebag, but #2 overall picks earn the right to be gigantic douchebags.

5th round picks don't. Alex Lange and Jake Fraley were first round picks and as nice as could be. Kramer acted like he was a god, despite not being super talented. He was really just a hard worker.

He did have a great arm, I'll give him that.

Milam is a better defensive shorstop than Bregman.

Bregman played in an era were balls weren't hit as hard and never had a fielding percentage higher than Milam's lowest fielding season.

I'll get him a case of Red Horse Chawin' Tobacky. Looks and tastes better than fingernails

How was that? He just seems like a regular guy

Just very cocky and full of himself, especially out in T Land. I interacted with him dozens of times. He wasn't like an a-hole or anything, just a douche who was full of himself.

Again, I don't blame him for being full of himself at all.

He is truly a plus defender....but if you were here to see Bregman in the flesh - he was very nice! Milam has some similarities but Bregman had more range.

Disclaimer:
I'm by no means an expert on this.

To me, he doesn't quite have the range of the aforementioned players.
However, when he gets to the ball, he fields it clean, quickly transfers and a pretty rapid and accurate throw.
I don't how to rate the combination of all of those factors, but it is a joy to watch nonetheless.

Too bad the rest of the team kicks it around on the regular.

He’ll have the best fielding percentage as he is very solid. Others have had more range and athleticism and stronger arms.
